DOES MEDICARE COVER DEXA SCANS FOR MEN WITH PROSTATE CANCER
I have been on Casodex and Eligard since June 2022. My PSA was still high after RALP so I had a GA-68 PSMA PET Scan done which revealed one 11mm tumor in the Left pelvic Lymph Nodes and one 7mm Tumor in the Right pelvic Lymph Nodes. Those were the only 2 hot spots in my body. My Dr. scheduled me for

Changes In Immune System
After living with UP for around 30yrs and Systemic Mastocytosis diagnosed 13yrs ago. I have had sepsis 3 times. The 1st time due to an abscess on my ovary and infection due to coil contraceptive. The 2nd time no cause was found. The 3rd time I’d had an accident and broken 4 ribs and punctured my lung

Walking Munro's with an ICD
Hi, Last year I was given an ICD implant and wondering how far I can go with exercise. I have tried to get back running, but struggling a bit. My daughter and I used to walk the Munro's in Scotland, but not sure if the distance or altitude is something a bit too much of a challenge. Appreciate if anyone

Could I be pregnant on Copper coil?
I had copper coil inserted May 2021...since then I've had my periods although they have been sporadic. Though I have missed period last month? Could I be pregnant, I'm going to test this weekend. It's still in place though so it's not like it's come out.

Met with surgeon 1st time, forced to make on spot decision.
I had my 2nd hospital appt this week, where they confirmed I have endo. My left ovary is stuck to my womb & I have some endo inside my womb from what they can see in the internal scan. After just finding this out she asked me to pick if I wanted the coil to help symptoms or a Laparoscopy. She said the

Consultant recommendation on repeated implementation failure and immunology (London)
Here is what we have: Unexplained infertility; TTC for 3-4 years never had a positive pregnancy test; 3 IUI cycles failed (all BFN); Two failed FET cycles with 4AA (both BFN) Don’t believe for 3 years there isn’t an embryo good enough to even get a faint line on the test strip! Therefore we are thinking

Cancelled cycle pregnancies?
Has anyone got pregnant after a cancelled cycle? In other words, when a cycle was cancelled because, for example, not enough follicles were growing to proceed to egg collection and then those eggs were ovulated and you became pregnant naturally or by switching to IUI? Looking for some success stories

safe driving after having I C D
Twice in the last 10 months I have had AF one of 175 and the other of 197 both times a visit to A & E Now have a I C D plus a load of tablets. Have handed in my licence to DVLA. and have told to wait 6 months before re-applying for a new licence. I am worried that I may have another AF

Endo using mirena coil and hair loss
Hello, I have endo and polycystic ovaries and I’m using the mirena coil to treat this. However I have hair loss and have lost a lot of hair in the back of my head. Has anyone ever experienced hair loss with the coil? If so what have you done for treatment? Thanks

dramatic drop in AMH
hi everyone, I’ve just joined. Back in feb this year I thought I’d have a check on my fertility as I’m 35 and not in a stable relationship. My AMH came back at 1.97pmol. Very low for my age. I had an antral follicle count scan and they said 1-2 follicles. Since then I’ve had various other tests and had

Hi ladies, I am 41 years old and had my first child naturally, I am trying to conceive for second time since last one year but no luck. I don't have any medical condition perhaps unexplained infertility and have gone though 3 cycles of ovulation induction and one IUI but it did not work. Should

Adenomyosis and endometriosis doubling progesterone pill
Yesterday I was diagnosed with adenomyosis on a scan and probably endometriosis. Initial options are the coil or doubling my progesterone pill. I’ve doubled and feel awful! Upset stomach and nausea, can’t be a coincidence? Does anyone have any experience with the coil that’s positive? I’m at a loss
