I am 41 years old and had my first child naturally, I am trying to conceive for second time since last one year but no luck. I don't have any medical condition perhaps unexplained infertility and have gone though 3 cycles of ovulation induction and one IUI but it did not work. Should I wait more for natual conception? my AMH was 3.8 last year and my cycles are regular and normal.
Thanks

Hi! I am 38 and we tried to conceive naturally for 3 years. The reason we decided to go for IVF is because we thought it is our best shot at getting pregnant. Our consultant told us that time is of the essence in terms of success rates. No regrets. We have gone through one cycle, have embryos in the freezer and a FET coming up. Good luck!
I would not wait a minute. I went for my first ivf consultation at 41 and i wanted iui. Now after 3 years of constant ivfs and miscarriages I understand why the consultant gave me such strange look at my first visit when I was after iui instead of ivf. She told me i dont have time for iui. And she was right.
