Question about CT scan
Hi Ladies, I have a question about the CT scan. In May 2018, I was diagnosed with mbc de novo. It had spread to my lymph node, all spine, pelvis, femur and some indeterminate bits in my liver. My hip was so bad that I had to have a hip replacement operation and I am only 44! I started taking Ibrance

Development of tolerance to Pramipexole as treatment for Anxiety/Depression?

I am well overdue for a hip replacement but the pain is no match for my anxiety about being away from home. My

Good morning all. I had a hip replacement on 12th October this year. I had it done with an epidural, but apparently during the operation it started to wear off so they gave me a general anesthetic. Since then my breathing has been worse and I have been bringing up a lot of phlegm. I have emphysema and

Spontaneous Dislocation of 7 week post Op THR
I have followed the advice to to the letter to protect my revised total hip replacement hip but still ended up in the A&E as my operated hip spontaneously dislocated while I was standing at the sink. It caused me to fall and hit a radiator (fortunately it survived) I was stuck on the kitchen floor and

Also make sure that compression socks are the correct size first time round found we were struggling because they were too small

Wrong stockings?
I have lower leg LD, but believe it has progressed, as I have enormous, hard 'muffin-tops' above my stockings? I also have (what seems to be?) a narrower 'band' around both mid-calves, which is narrower than the rest of my legs. I have the flat-knit, knee-high stockings without the gripper-band, (the

gout diagnosis or not?
I have had osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia for more years that I have not and recently an old ankle injury flared up dramatically! Incredibly painful and inflamed. Could drive okay but not walk more than 50 yards without being very close to tears, ready to scream with pain sometimes - a real nuisance

Tip for the ladies
Hi An unwanted side effect of Pred is often weight gain. I have developed breasts of " a good handful" as described by my husband. Apologies to our male friends. I keep getting itchy sore rashes underneath. My GP has prescribed a special cream but I wanted to pass on her tip. It is nigh impossible to
