blue fingers when in hot bath??
Has anyone else had this? It happen to my toes when I was in the shower the other day too. I don’t know if it’s Raynauds or my low ferritin/anemia or what. About to go for a colonoscopy this week for the anemia and a high positive FIT test but I can’t see it being linked to that.

TSH 0.12 , this was 5.44 6 weeks ago, help understanding
(T4 19.4, this was 14.2) I think I know why so high originally as after researching I was taken prescribed
iron
tables at the same time which I beleive stop the assorption or something like that. So now do you you think I should go back to my usual 100 micrograms?

Medi Checks Results - Advanced Thyroid Function test
I didn't take any B12 or
iron
supplement 2 weeks before the test as advised by medichecks. I am still feeling unwell with all the normal underactive (hashimoto's) symptoms. 175mg a day up from 150mcg 8 weeks ago. There has been a slight improvement. I am supplementing and my diet is good.

Hidden Illness, a poem in anticipation of tomorrow's guidelines

Feeling annoyed
I also take Vit D, K2, Zince, Magnesium, Evening primose, Probiotics, Selenium, recently started with
Iron
and Gloucosamine. All these are taken well apart from the Levo. I also take inhalers and montelukast.

Advice on which Vitamin test to buy.
I’ve increased my thyroid medication, but now I’m back from holiday, I want to test my vitamins levels, particularly my
iron
levels. I normally use Medi checks, but its been over a year (maybe longer) as already mentioned since I have used them for a vitamin test.

New to RLS…confused, frustrated and a bit frightened.
I assumed I might need
iron
supplementation, (as I had some blood loss) after reading about
iron
and RLS, and so I requested a ferritin level check-up from my clinic. It was 31. The doctor I saw at my clinic whom I’d never seen before told me that was a good level.

Switch from Besremi to Jakafi
First five years after diagnosis I was treated with monthly phlebotomy and baby aspirin only. 5 yrs of monthly phlebotomy took its toll and
iron
deficiency and high platelets led me to besremi which had just been approved. Started besremi about 2 1/2 years ago.

and I’ve had an infusion once a week for 4 weeks. And also he prescribed vitamin D. I just don’t know where to go or what to do next. these are my latest results from Feb

Request for more levothyroxine following results from Medichecks
So now I’m being given
iron
tablets which is fine but no extra levothyroxine so stuck on 75mcgs. Any advice would be appreciated as I feel I’ve become known as a nuisance by the surgery and need to show clear evidence that I need an increase when I write to the T x

Itching with RLS
At my next MD appointment I will be asking for an
iron
infusion as my
iron
levels are just barely at 100. The biggest problem I still have is the itching that I get all over my body with it most active towards evening. Analgesic creams have helped very little.

I have been taking
iron
supplement as my ferritin had dropped from my normal 90 to 34 in April. Should I be asking for further test? I’m getting fed up with feeling unwell although I haven’t fainted and it is not all the time. Any advice welcome. Thank you

Is it my Ablation hasn’t worked and needs a top up or is the low

Odd consultant appointment
He said my
iron
levels are very low so I must be bleeding from somewhere! I asked if my
iron
levels had been tested in my most recent bloods a week ago & was told no, last tested July 2022 but they wouldn’t have improved since then.

Iron bisglycinate with vitamin b12….
I bought the
iron
from Thorne but when it arrived I saw that each capsule has 300 mcg of vitamin b12. If I take 75 mg of
iron
, that will be 900 mcg of the b vitamin. Does anyone know if that is likely to keep me awake or otherwise make it harder to fall asleep? Thank you to anyone who answers!
