This is a response to another post asking about correlation of RLS and numb hands and feet. I think there is a connection. However there are so many other possible explanations. A search of "nerveguard MD" does list RLS. But more common comorbidity explanations are pinching nerve fibers from carpel tunnel, diabetes, toxins, infections, alcohol, vitamin deficiency, and circulation problems. I also wonder if general weakness of legs can be attributed to RLS. My leg strength is half what it was 3 years ago. I have had RLS for 35 years and have tried nearly everything possible. The only significant medication that works is Pramipexole (we know about the dangers of augmentation). Other failures include iron infusions, alpha delta ligands (awful side effects and no RLS help), methadone and other pain killers(helps a little), THC/cannabinoids (helps a little).

I have had weakness in my legs for a very long time, especially if walking up stairs or on any level of incline. I also have Hashimoto’s Thyroid Disease so that likely contributes to it. It makes me feel much older than I actually am.
I have RLS and extreme weakness in my legs. I have recently been diagnosed with neuropathy even though nerve conduction studies have been negative in the past. Have you considered neuropathy?
