sleeping pills
My GP says my
iron
test came back normal and wants me to try Pregablin. I am reluctant . I want to explore other alternatives. Do any sleeping pills override the RL ? Magnesium has been suggested… but how much and which one? Any suggestions would be gratefully received. X

Coming off Pramipexole
She's arranging (at my request) a full
iron
panel and she also suggested a B12 check, both of which I will have in 2 weeks' time. Last night I cut my Pramipexole in half, with a view to taking 1/2 one night then X1 the next for a fortnight, then gradually reducing as she gave me no plan.

usual dose of gabapentin not enough
I am (as I have always been) splitting the dose into two, taking gentle
iron
every other night, doing evening stretches, and watching triggers.

High platelet count due to iron deficiency anaemia maybe?
Just again when I thought all was going well ! High platelet count from recent blood test shows Platelet count 515 10*9/L Platelet count has been abnormal for some time, but never this high. Not sure whether I should request the ferrous sulphate again, OR could it be PMR flare. I have felt pretty

Tension headache with FND diagnosis and possible PLM /RLS
I am being referred for polysomnography and request for bloods FBC &
Iron
studies. Also referral to a community psychologist for FND with perhaps some sessions of cognitive behavioural therapy. They will see me back in 6 months time or sooner if needed.

Low iron
I’ve been struggling with my RLS more than usual lately and asked my doctor to test my
iron
levels. They came back low 5. I take ferrous fumarate as I have anemia but the Dr has prescribed ferrous sulfate as well is it okay to take both?

Confused
A few weeks earlier he put me on
Iron
pills as I have been Anemic for some time, they have made no difference seemingly. It is worth noting that three years ago I came out of NHS control, and saw my private Haemotologist.

iron
infusion for this.

After 3 years of B12 injections I suddenly need them more frequently?
My
iron
and folate levels are good. I haven’t had any type of acute or chronic stress like an infection or new health problem. My B12 phials are all in date! Feeling a bit baffled.

Could I have Bowel Endometriosis?
I had blood tests, all fine other than low
iron
- I don’t have particularly heavy periods so despite them suggesting this could be the cause, I don’t know how!
