Help with results please
Hello, Just trying to work out if thyroid looks ok please and doesn't need any further investigation? I know I'm iron deficient with a low ferritin level but have been supplementing for 8 weeks now and have got up from 8 ug/L to 31 ug/L and am no longer anaemic either as Hb has raised a little too

Hi everyone, I’m new to this group, and hope it’s ok to post this here. Sorry, I tried to keep it brief, but it’s much longer than I planned!🙂 I’m a female in my mid 30’s and have long struggled with a range of symptoms (fatigue, poor quality sleep, digestive issues, headaches, depression/anxiety

Any suggestions for headache?
After initial diagnosis in 2015, I've had EBRT; brachytherapy; chemo in 2019; ADT since 2019 chemo; two bone Mets on spine since 2019, but no detectable PSA. Have been on Orgovyx since December, 2020. Still have everyday, lowgrade --- not migraine --- headaches, for which I take Excedrin. In talking

Need repeat bloods, high antibodies but GP doesn't have results.
I hoped you lovely people could help advise? Sorry in advance for the waffle...GP called to discuss recent blood results said my antibodies were high and didn't want to be overtreating but then couldn't find my results on the system so having to repeat bloods next Thursday. My last sample I stopped

Should I take Irin supplements?
Hi I have had my bloods done for most things thyroid through Monitor my Health. The results I was the most interested in were the iron panel. After Seaside Suzie explained the importance of optimal levels for conversion of t4 to t3 I think I need to be taking a supplement? Could I ask if my results

Sudden exhaustion. help?!?
Hello all... I was on levothyroxine (t4) AND Liothyronine (t3) but had constant heart reactions so chosen to return to levo only. This was in July 2022. I had been on 75mcg T4/5mcg T3 for some years. I had to lower and then raise slowly because of my overreaction to raises, it was all going well

Ferrous Fumarate
I have just had blood tests done. I was found to be low in iron so the GP gave me ferrous fumarate to take for a month. I am on Levothyroxine (one day 75, next 100) I have just started taking escitalopram 10mg for the most awful anxiety and depression. But my anxiety is still really bad I’ve read ferrousfumarate

Iron Infusion
Anyone have an iron infusion, and if so how did it affect your afib, or for that matter anything? Had my second infusion yesterday and had a short afib episode last night. Could be a coincidence, but very unusual for me to get episodes with my daily dose of Flecainide. FWIW I do not have anemia (low

On iron supplements but my ferritin did not increase
I started having a lot of symptoms of iron deficiency last year after correcting my long term B12 deficiency: dry mouth, palpitations, muscle twitches. It is possible that my iron had been low for a long time and I just didn't notice because my B12 had also been low. I started taking iron supplements

Blood test results
Hi everyone, Been here a few times as I try and get my thyroid/iron levels good while TTC. Was pleased recently when my iron went up finally but now it, and my other thyroid levels, seem to have got worse. I'm not sure if this is because the test was taken on the last day of my period - would that

Amgevita - low energy
Hi all, I've been on Amgevita for just over four weeks, and it's done a decent job of addressing my pain and inflammation. The only thing is, I feel really flat and lethargic. Has anyone found that there's a delay between getting relief from symptoms, and then getting your energy back? I know that
