Party Girls don't get hurt...
You could often see Party Girl out... Well, pretty much any night of the week. Wednesdays were usually her favourite. Peeling away from her equally drunk friends wearing more makeup than clothes, it would be easy to look at Party Girl and think 'Ugh, what a slag'. She wasn't a slag though. Not by any

Need some knowledge please!
So I may have endometriosis, I just got back from a&e after calling 111 from the amount of pain I’ve been in. Been sent home with a box of codeine and told it’s probably my hormones and if I have endometriosis it’ll also be that. However I still don’t know the root problem for it all. I’m grateful for

Thyroid function after RAI
I've read comments here from people who don't believe their thyroid was "dead" for some years after RAI. So far, online and in the books I'm reading, I'm not able to find a whole lot of info on this. Does anyone know how a person would find out if the symptoms they suddenly began having post RAI were

Gut problems and lethargy.
I’ve had thyroid problems for over 20 years now. Initially I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, by my G.P. who arranged an appointment with endocrinologist. I wasn’t given much information at the time and was given the advice that having RAI treatment was my best option as he told me it was easier to

Suggestion for endo flare up pain
Hi This will be my first post I'm not asking for help but trying to give some which feels good. I've discovered a gel from France whilst staying with a couple in Spain (he used it for broken leg trauma). Being someone who previously got addicted to codeine in a knock on effect of dealing with endometriosis

Advice on low ferritin
Hi everyone, I have questions about low ferritin levels. I have Grave's disease and had RAI one year ago, so now hypothyroid. Having issues with T4/T3 conversion and found out I have low ferritin levels of 23 but serum iron is normal at 105. TIBC is on the highest end of normal (forget my exact number

Fluctuating Thyroid levels long after RAI
I had RAI for hyperthyroid about three years ago. I’ve been steady on 100 mcg Levo with nothing changing for the last year. My tsh steady at 1.0 Now, all the sudden it seems to be fluctuating. Tsh going to 0.5 (usually it’s supposed to go more hypo over time). To my knowledge my thyroid is dead or

Are there any papers on TSH going suppressed when you take T3?
Does anyone know of papers/ trials/ research which show that TSH is often suppressed when you take T3? I think this may be a problem at my next endo appointment, as my TSH is often around 0.005 ! My T3 and T4 levels are fairly high but have never been over range. January 2020 Medichecks (similar to tests
