Recurrence in Peritoneum
Hi ladies! Just had an update on my 53 year old Mum. For context, she was diagnosed HGS stage 3c/4a in Jan 2022, had three rounds of chemo, optimal debulking surgery with full hysterectomy and removal of omentum, and then three more rounds of chemo. Declared NED in August 2022, and has been on Avastin

I had 3 round of taxol developed neuropathy and discontinued treatment but completed the 6 rounds of carboplatin. Neither treatments helped my cancer. Did Keytruda infusion with Lenvima pills not working. No approved therapists left, except for a clinical trial if I qualify and am accepted? Good luck

The endo biopsy revealed cancer
Hello, everyone I'm 39 years old, I had a surgery 17 days before, I removed an endometriosis mass with fibroid and one ovary. Yesterday I received the biopsy results, it shows a tumor carcinoma high stage, they need to complete the test by immunochemistry test, and I'll get the results after 15 days.

Smartwatch ecg
Hi there everyone. I was diagnosed with mild LVSD after chemotherapy treatment and have been on bisoprolol and ramipril for a few years. I've recently discovered my watch can do ecg's , but my results do not look like my husbands and all the other 'normal' ecgs online. They have large waves. I will

Had anyone is dealing or have dealt with lymphomedema in your scrotum
The scrotum had been swelled for a few weeks, I noticed after the last chemo was canceled due to not working. Did anyone get medication that helped to stop or reduce the swelling ? I did find underwear that has a pouch that does help but still a pain in the butt. Any suggestions will be appreciated and

New treatment after being dropped from Pluvicto.
I was dropped from LU177 treatment in late January and started my first round of Docetaxel/Carboplatin on 01/30. Lab results on 02/17 showed my platelet count to be very low so was denied the second round of chemo. We did see a significant drop in PSA from 758 to 611 on that lab. My next lab 03/17 showed

PSA after 4-5 months on Lupron (Scholz)?
Just watched a Scholz (PCRI) video posted last week about PSA. He said multiple times that PSA should reach a nadir of <0.1 after 4-5 months on 1st generation ADT and that if it didn't "[i]something's wrong, that is an unusual type of prostate cancer that has some hormone resistance and studies over

CA 27.29 Blood Testing
Hi All, It's been about 3 years(2020) since I was diagnosed with HER2 + breast cancer. I had undergone a double mastectomy and a full year of chemo. During my twice a year check-ups (every 6 months) I was always given a Cancer Antigen( CA 27.29) blood test, but with this visit this test was not done

Question about IVIG infusion
Just diagnosed in January 2023. My Dr says it is too soon to order IVIG infusion for me. I want to do some traveling this summer and would hate to get sick while on vacation. What is the criteria to get IVIG and does insurance/ medicare pay for these infusions. I hear so many good things from everyone

Hi ….from a newly dx’d comrade from the UK
I’m 56 and I’ve recently been dx’d with lobular ER+ breast cancer (2cm), go back to see consultant on Monday for MRI results. I have a lumpectomy & sentinel lymph node removal scheduled for the 28th March. Drs Initial plan was for removal, tamoxifen & chemo….but that may have changed since MRI

PSA slooooowly rising.
Hi. To cut it short, I have Stage IV Pca.At diagnosis (Nov.2020) my PSA was 66. Had a few sessions of chemo and Firmagon. That was insufficient after a 4-5 months so Xtandi (2 tablets - half dose) was added. My PSA went down to <0.10 for a couple of months. Then rose to 0.12 - the 0.14 and it's now

Having pectus carinatum and PC would radiotherapy or chemotherapy affect the strength of the rib cage structure?
I have PC but also epilepsy which I have had for over fifty years, over 400 + seizures thus weakened my rib cage structure [affected by pectus carinatum/pigeon chest] over the years thus likely to refracture. I have had radiotherapy but would that or chemotherapy affect the bone strength of my rib cage

Xtandi (enzalutamide) alone is superior to ADT alone at preventing metastases in "high-risk" recurrent men
"High-Risk"recurrence was defined as men who have had primary therapy (prostatectomy or radiation) but have had rising PSA but no detectable (on bone scan/CT) metastases yet and T≥150 ng/dl, and: • PSA doubling time ≤ 9 months, or • PSA≥ 1 ng/ml post-prostatectomy, or • PSA≥ nadir+2 ng/ml post-primary

Off Abiraterone ?
When I started chemo Abiraterone was discontinued. A recent post suggested that lowering T is even more important if castrate resistant. So why was Abiraterone discontinued? I have an infusion and appointment with substitute MO tomorrow and will try to remember to ask this but would like the opinion

Chemotherapy with Etoposide and Cisplatin
Has anyone on here had Chemo with these 2 drugs? Just wondering how you’re getting on in feeling normal? I’m 5 years post chemo and my entire body hurts from head to foot. Doctor is looking at possible Lupus but ANA test is negative. I have joint pain, muscle pain, basically pain anywhere and everywhere
