Changing coils?!
Hi everyone, I have recently been diagnosed with endometriosis and a cyst on my ovary. I am currently on the copper coil (I have had no issues with this), and was wondering if anyone's had any experience changing from the copper coil to the mirina coil (hormonal) because of endo?

hey me again, i had my endo review and honestly it didn’t go how i thought. so they have said to go in the coil or have surgery, which i was told i was too ‘fat’ for the surgery before seeing this doctor i’m really worried about the coil just because i’m not sure it will 100% stop my pain like

Stem cell transplant starts on Monday
A bit of background - In October 2021 I had a rapid and florid relapse following the end of my Ibrutinib treatment in FLAIR so I was started on Acalabrutinib with no effect and also had investigations for Richter's. Tests showed that I was resistant to the currently available BTKi's (two synergistic

A long post - How medication was ruining my life, not making me better! Reassurance for anyone concerned about stopping medication.
Hi ladies. A very Happy New Year to you all! I am hoping that 2023 treats you all with improved health and a wealth of happiness. I have seen a lot of posts recently appearing on my feed regarding treatments and hormones, and so I just wanted to share my recent experience of stopping all treatments.

IUD removal with general anaesthetic
Hi! I have been living with suspected endometriosis since I was 14. Flooding, heavy periods and intense stomach and back pain have plagued my life. In 2020 I was finally sent to see a gynaecologist after a decade of medical gaslighting. I ended up leaving with an IUD I never wanted or requested. The

Dienogest vs Zoladex
Hi Everyone, I have stage 4 endometriosis and Thoracic Endometriosis. It’s in my pleura adjacent to my vena cava and several places on my diaphragm. I’m on the mirena coil since December 2021 and was taking the progesterone only pill (cerazette) on top for the last couple of months. I became pregnant

Assured fertility.. any experiences/dealing with that people would be willing to share...
I'm a single female currently paying for IUI with my clinic but considering going onto IVF if my 3rd IUI is not successful. Assured fertility costs are cheaper than my clinic and there does seems a few catches to the 100% refund plan aswell as the multicycle plan. Has anyone had experience with Assured

Advice on next steps - 2 failed natural IUIs, 1 more to go.... experiences/thoughts appreciated
I'm completing IUI as a single female, soon to turn 35. My consultant suggested 3 natural IUI and 3 unmediated. I have completed 2 IUIs, first one I started bleeding 9 days after IUI, second was 12 days after IUI but I was convinced I was pregnant and it was going right, will sound like a symptom spotting

Likely failed FET - what are next steps?
I am 9DP5DT of a really good quality blastocyst that thawed well. I have tested on FRER this morning and awaiting beta results. Pretty sure this round we are out. I previously had a fresh transfer but bled very early due to the trigger I had for my egg collection. Before starting IVF, I had 3 x IUI that

Question on pain post surgery
Hi everyone, I won’t go into too much detail into my history as I’ve posted about it on here before, however from that post I got some great advice and it’s been incredibly eye opening. Cut a long story short I have been suffering with irregular periods and pain for years plus a bunch of other symptoms

Mirena coil and back pain
Hi. Wondering what people’s experience is with the Mirena coil and it causing back pain? I’m 7 months in with the coil and it has stopped my periods and by month 5 had really helped with my endo pelvic pains but over the time I’ve experience lower back pain to the point I really pulled my back after

Life beyond Myelofibrosis
I progressed from ET to Myelofibrosis a couple of years ago. I had an enlarged spleen and ruxolitinib lowered the platelets too much so I was switched to fedratinib. Depending on what predictive tool was used, I had a median predicted life span of between 2 and 14 years - not terribly helpful! I was

Dienogest and the coil
Hi everyone, My doctor prescribed me Dienogest for endo pain and said it was fine to take it even though I have a mirena coil. However, in the leaflet it says not to take it if you have a coil… does anyone have any idea? I ask because my moods have been all over the place and I wonder if it’s because
