Hi all, I'm a newbie to this site although i have had endo for over 30 years. At my initial diagnosis, i was stage 4. 10 years ago I had a sub-total hysterectomy (they could not remove my cervix as it was stuck to my bladder with endo cysts). Since then, on and off, i have a spot in my lower right side

Advice needed
Hi, my wife has endometriosis and I am wondering just how exactly I can convince a Dr about the level of pain she is in? Her journey started with very heavy and long periods on average between 10-20 days of very heavy bleeding, then she would have 3-5 days without and then again 10-20 days bleeding

This is my scar at the 9 week mark after spinal fusion of 7 vertebrae. There are 2 rods and 12 screws in my back to help stabilise my vertebrae after prostate cancer caused a compression fracture. I have discontinued most of the pain medication. I dropped to a 5 microgram Norspan patch yesterday after

Nifedipine - how do YOU take it?
Hi! The rheumatologist I last saw has sent a vague instruction to my GP recommending that I take nifedipine “in the winter months”, but not specifying strength, frequency etc. This is to combat what I think is worsening Raynaud’s in my hands - permanently wrinkled fingertips as if I’ve just come out

Polycystic Organs and the Medical Maze
Here is our story so far - any thoughts and guidance much appreciated: My wife has been battling polycystic kidney disease for years, and we now suspect she has polycystic liver disease too. But getting a diagnosis and treatment for her enlarged liver has been an uphill struggle that's left us feeling

IBS or something more?
Hi, this is my first post on here, and I'm just wondering if anyone can calm my anxiety and mind...For the past 4 years, I've had what I can only call unusual symptoms...bloating, passing a lot of blood from my back passage (clots included and the amount I'd pass during a heavy period), a lot of mucus

is this PMR
morning, I have now finished my 2 year Prednisolone taper for GCA. I was under Chetan Mukthyr. However much pain & stiffness I was in he always ruled out PMR as I did not have every single symptom, my tapering was never altered in the 2 years. Every day now I wake up to stiffness in fingers, buttocks

pain pump
Hello MBC Fighters! I went to my pain management Dr. he gave me lyraca and morphine for my pain, it has helped a lot. Going for a CT next week he thinks it’s a pinched nerve. He wants me to have a pain pump put in. It automatically puts pain medication in my body and then refil the pump every two

Experienced with spinal cord stimulators?
Hello all, Hoping to hear some positive experiences with scs. I’ve had chronic pain since I was 17, for about 15 years now. And now my wife and I have a 6 month old baby, and I’m just totally, totally wiped out. Was diagnosed with stress fractures in L4, had a surgery that made the pain 10x worse
