Anxiety About Being Rejected
I don't understand who I am anymore. I used to be confident; a Leader that people counted on; proud of myself. Something has "changed me". Negative experiences in the past year or so just stay in the forefront of my mind. It started a year ago, when my brother, whom I was very close with, started

Gestational Diabetes
I was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes last week when my glucose levels on a one hour test came back at 8.2. I have changed my diets and started exercising and For the last 3 days I have been testing my blood but everyday I have a one spike at different times. I’m trying to figure everything out.

Falling asleep after eating
I know that post prandial sleepiness affects diabetics (ex partner was diabetic) and I know there’s a connection between low thyroid/cortisol and insulin resistance, and am now concerned that I also fall asleep after my main meal. It’s not drowsiness, I just can’t keep my eyes open. What is the connection

Back muscles and side of body muscles a mess
I have PRM since July 2021 but it started after 2nd Moderna shot. My first symptoms after 2 weeks from the shot began overnight. Terrible back muscle stiffness and screaming muscles. I used Tiger balm 4 times a day, heat, got new pillow. Gradually over maybe 1-2 months other symptoms settled in too

Traveling with Peg ?
I am planning a couple of holidays One is long haul with connections. l need to carry my Peg on these flights. The link below states that Peg should not be left outside for more then 24 hours? I always assumed it requires immediate refrigeration ‘Store in the refrigerator at 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46

IGF-I & Mortality
New study below [1]. The insulin axis is rarely talked about but is very important IMO. Even back in 2004 there were a lot of insulin-like growth factor-I [IGF-I] studies. Currently 556 hits on PubMed for <prostate "IGF-I">. But who reads them? I have learned to beware of anything with "growth factor

Insulin & glucose in Parkinson's / Ketogenic lifestyle
hi, I am finding that the effect of glucose or insulin has quite an effect on mobility. Before, it seemed that protein alone would interfere with L-Dopa. Now it's not only that, but post-prandial somnolence that can lay me down for hours. Come the next day, I can pretty much lead a "normal" day (with

Buserelin advice
Hi guys, Does anyone have experience of buserelin injections? I’m two weeks in, have been using the 50iu insulin syringes that were supplied by pharmacy but I’ve realised that the needle length is 8mm and most sub cuts are longer needles.. the prescription didn’t specify needle length, does this matter

2022 New Year 🎁: The J R Kraft test, & the REAL pathology of Type 1 & Type 2 diabetes ( - of which T2DM is the 'end-stage' of disease !).
"2022" greetings to all readers ! Searching for "Kraft" today on this forum returned only 18 results, & none from the past year or two ! That's a pity, as the fruits of pathologist Dr Joseph R Kraft's research about insulin & associated glucose levels are worth knowing about & understanding in broad
