New to being diabetic
Hi. I have just been diagnosed as being diabetic. I am not surprised since both my mum and dad were diabetics and my mum was insulin dependant. I had my last blood test last week, or so I thought, but the lab did not process my blood for the final result, so today I am having the last blood test.

Post infection IBS
I need help. I went to Peru in march of 2016 and came back with a bug. Long story short had 4 courses of antibiotics 2 with flagyl, 1 with cipro at the same time as flagyl, 1 with humatin and finally my naturopath figured it out. I had cyclospora. So 1 more with bactrim. I lost 22 pounds in 1.5 months

Last Thursday and Friday at Work: DEXCOM (El jueves pasado y el viernes en trabajo: DEXCOM)
I know this is much later than normal for me to be posting about the DEXCOM, but last Thursday and Friday had been extremely busy and hectic. It was more like severe stress multiplied by 200%! The stress was from the Senior Center where I work. I try to stay out of everything that doesn't involve

Trying to come back to Normalcy
Hello, I am new here. I had a massive heart attack in April, 2014. I was given CPR by my wife. I was dead for about half an hour. I was revived, had an angioplasty and put in one stent in my heart. I was put on statins and Beta blockers. Took an angiogram in June, 2015. Had a double by-pass operation

Liver Biopsy.
Hello. Got letter yesterday from Hospital date for Liver Biopsy is Monday 12th September at 2pm. Got to report to the Hospital on the morning at 7.30am to have my bloods done. And it states in the letter that I am being admitted for overnight stay???? Could this be because I am a Type 2 Diabetic on Insulin

Have you tried getting stuff out of an ampoule with an 8mm needle?
It's b*%+@y difficult. Getting very frustrated at wasting half the dose. So, a question. Is there a huge problem with getting the full measure from the ampoule with a longer syringe, then injecting it into the back of the insulin syringe before putting the plunger back in again (being extraordinary careful

Is there any relation between alcohol and insulin ?
If one is taking alcohol should there be any time difference between two ? Or both can be taken simultaneously. Any thought ?
