Another paper from the controversial PURE study.
New study below. "Reducing saturated fatty acid intake and replacing it with carbohydrate has an adverse effect on blood lipids. Substituting saturated fatty acids with unsaturated fats might improve some risk markers, but might worsen others." Because of my PCa research, my primary concern is with triglycerides

My lab reports
I am 60 years old, diabetic for the past 23 years. Started LCHF diet 10 months back. Stopped insulin and taking 2 tabs as advised by LCHF doctor. Good news is that I have stopped BP and thyroid tablets since one month and yesterday's lab reports showed normal values. But the abnormal values are:

Hello everyone, In a couple of weeks time, I have volunteered to give a talk about Insulin Pumps. I am now on my 3rd Medtronic pump & really do like them. I was diagnosed at the age of 3-- a long time ago. They ARE the future now. I am not a public speaker, but I am a very positive person & will not

Is Thyroid and Diabetic related? I am taking thyroid tablet along with my insulin and other tablets. I have a review in 2 weeks, if my A1bc level reduces, will they stop my insulin or will they ask me to continue.? Please advice...!

Could these cortisol results cause problems taking thyroid meds?
Hello I've been trying for a few years to get my health sorted: fatigue, hairloss, the usual suspects, including intransgient weight gain. My most recent tests showed high leptin and high fasting insulin (way over what they should be) so I have switched to a no-sugar, almost zero (once a week curry)

FYI: MHRA Press Release: Batches of NovoPen Echo & NovoPen 5 recalled due to risk of fault
People with diabetes who use NovoPen® Echo® and NovoPen® 5 should check to see if their devices are included in the company-led recall by Novo Nordisk. The insulin cartridge holder in certain batches may crack or break resulting in an under-delivery of insulin which can lead to high blood glucose (hyperglycaemia

DIZZINESS ON EATING SOMETIMES AFTER A FEW BITES - THEN LASTS FOR HOURS AFTER.
ANY IDEAS what this could be? I have had lots of tests done - you name it! Only real things discovered are high cholesterol (though good diet) and high cortisol in the day. Low insulin also but blood sugar normal. PLEASE HELP!

Hi, docundy, You're post had a lot of pertinence for me. I also believe many drugs cause or exacerbate rls. The trick is finding out which ones (I suspect more than just one of one;s 'drug arsenal'.) I'm 73,recently diagnosed, and would like to get off my Xanax. I take them for anxiety, have some several
