I am butting in here just to say I got mine from twentyfirstcenturyherbs on line. highly recommend this company both for quality and delivery speed. They seemed to clear mucus but I found for me they also had duretic effect which I didnt need!
hi I hope you dont mind me asking you but I noticed you wrote lungwort gave you a diuretic affect and u wrote u don’t need that. I’m stage 4 copd /asthma and struggle to get out of bed and suffer with fluid retention, along with many other things, so did lungwort make u pass fluid more often ? As I took lungwort for about two months but really didn’t not much difference but my lungs are shot really, but if they will help me with fluid retention I will continue using them as I’m struggling terribly bloated from fluid retention and dont pee anything compared to what I drink . This is only a question and I won’t hold u to your word I was just quirious to what u wrote as I’m getting desperate now as I lie in this bed with a belly bloated like a frog ha ha thanks Ken
Hi yes for me it seemed to help lungs and breathing somewhat but also the peeing increased. The only downsize to trying it COULD be if it affects your kidney function/potassium balance etc. If fluid retention is a problem its best to speak with your gp first although guess maybe they wont comment/know much about herbal stuff but they will know your medical issues and know if this effect (if you get it too, which you may not) would be a problem kidney wise.
There has been been little study into the effects of taking lungwort nor the correct dose or interactions with other medications. Yes there is some evidence that it may help breathing however there are many unknowns about the dangers of using it.
I also can sing the praises of lungwort. I have found it has improved my breathing no end and I wouldn’t be without it. I’ve even been able to play badminton again ( not obviously like I could as a young women ) but I can run around for 40 minutes or so without gasping for breath, out of breath yes but not gasping. I can climb hills much better than I could. I have tried different brands but the following link is my go to place . There are hundreds of reviews on the site. british-supplements.net/. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed. I found a difference within a week and it progressively improved
