Fibro question

For a while now I've been suffering with shortness of breathe. Been backwards and forwards to the Dr's to be told its your medication its, your asthma ,been given different inhalers. So I've pushed this now as it's getting worse. Had a CT scan done yesterday and they've found a blood clot on my lower right lung. Off course my mind went into over time. On medication to break the clot down. Prognosis is good. Just wondered if this has happened to anyone else.

Thank goodness that you pushed it with your GP and not accepted their first diagnosis. Hope the meds work quickly for you. 🤞

Isn't it just. Thank you, Mr Consultant seems hopeful that they will. 🙂

I'm struggling with shortness of breathe & had a cough for months. They have put me on inhalers but don't do much, I've contacted doctor again so hopefully they can help sort this as never suffered like this before. I also had covid a month ago & cough has been worse since then x

Hi Debbs73,

I have an appointment with some lung peeppoles on Fri, It's really been dragging on for too long, I had a sleep apnea thing a couple of years back and heard nothing (covid),

I thought no news is good news, right? wrong, It's not sleep apnea, I didn't hear anything until I saw the anesatist (can't spell ) I had the chat when she said I have to have more lung people talk first, the results were not sent out,

I thought I was going ready for my dental surgery! So I'm still on pause, Very tedious to put it lightly, I struggle up the stairs,we have a stair lift but it just screams at me, GET OFF FATTY! I put a lot of irony and titters because If I didn't jest with whole sorry mess, I am likely to have a mental break down and I don't have enough diazepam to sort myself out,

Still waiting for my dental work, If it gets any worse I'm down the dentist and get her to take them out,

I hope you get the right treatment and your illnesses are controlled, They put me on clopidogrel after they found on my CT scan I'd had a small stroke???? I knew nothing about it!! This is a great site for asking if anyone else has had ?? And the chances of people can relate with different Fibro nasty ailments is high,

I didn't know half the answers I was looking for, So many understanding people out there

Take care

Debs

Hi Debsdelight72. So did you have a CT scan done for them to discover that you'd had a mini stroke did ya say? So do you have to take medication to help prevent further stroke. So have they said what and why you need to see the lung people?

Yeah I'm getting the treatment. They've put me on Apixaban but also came out of hospital with antibiotics as the consultant said ice got an infection in my lungs.

Must admit I can't fault there care. Had scan last Thursday where I was told about the clot taken upto the ward and started treatment straight away.

Hope your soon on the mènd also.

Take care debbs.

Sorry Debbs, I've been having 1 hell of a flare, My head aches every single day from 1990,I had lumba punctures to empty liquid from my spine as i had too much CFS, I was massively over weight and had pictures taken of the back of my eyes, There was a shadow around the back,I stopped going after 2005 as I lost a good amount of weight and didn't want to keep having the lumba punctures,

Because my headaches are back with a vengence. I'm over weight again and I'm not sure if I will have to start the whole process all over again, I'm trying not to think too much about it at the moment,

I cant even recall the past week apart from my Hubby bringing dinner up and sat next to me in my bed, Bless him, We had haggis and neeps, A good scottish meal, It's like marmite,

You either love it or hate it. I must have slept for about 10 hrs and woke up knackered, yummy good filling meal to warm your cockles,

Hope you had a nice christmas day🙂
