Struggling at times? Me too :)
I used to need two kinds of
Inhalers
, could not run at all, was very unfit and prone to boredom and depression - now I breathe easier, enjoy the activity and social environment of running and have a lot of fun trundling along in the events I run in.

Asthma Flare-up
My asthma has been flaring up over the last week with the usual symptoms of coughing, feeling tight-chested and breathless, so I started my rescue pack of steroids. I saw the nurse at my GP practice on Wednesday, who was less than helpful, she basically told me that because my chest was clear, they wouldn't

COPD - ANYONE HAVE HELP WITH WASHING/DRESSING ETC
Now on 2
Inhalers
and Steroids. Does anyone else find that they need help with washing and dressing themselves? Also in the night I start coughing, can't get comfortable so my husband gets me up and I go and sit on the sofa for the rest of the night. Sometimes up at 2, 3 and 4.

My daughter has uncontrolled asthma with regular exacerbations also she needs inhaler throughout the day everyday and if she doesn’t take it when she’s wheezy

Flixotide causing anxiety?
I’ ve recently been posting on the thyroid forum. I ve had recent symptoms of an exaggerated response to normal stress, which has made me very ill. I have ME and basically this was very bad along with a racing heart. Over the last 18 months I’ve had circadian rhythm problems along with high blood pressure

Asthma Appointment
So I went to see the nurse at my practice today because my asthma has flared up and although my chest is clear she's told me to finish my course of steroids because my peak flow is low (270 usually 450) and I'm tight chested and a little breathless and she's changed my steroid inhaler from Flutiform

Just needing a vent
I am feeling really fed up right now. I got diagnosed about 2 weeks ago with pots and then 2 days later was in hospital with kidney stones. Got released just on time to make a family trip to London so had lots of painkillers to get through it but still managed to enjoy it. I came home and went to gp

Short of Breath
I am not so bad I need
inhalers
. I have done so much reading trying to figure out if this could be the PMR, a side effect of being on Pred. for nearly 3 years or issues with my adrenals from my recent taper to 5.5mg Pred.

Advice on Relvar Ellipta 92/22
Hi, I am a newly diagnosed asthma patient, using a dry powder inhaler for the first in my life aged 76. I am experiencing a very runny nose & sinusitis. My question is will these symptoms subside over time - only been using Relvar Ellipta for 25 days. I am rinsing my mouth immediately after inhaling.

Chest Clinic
My GP/ Asthma Nurse has referred me to the Chest Clinic at the hospital because my scores at my last asthma check-up were pretty low, and I've got my appointment on Wednesday, but I'm not sure what I should mention. I get frequent flare-ups and chest infections- flare-ups probably between every 4-6 weeks

COPD and RLS
I have emphysema and have tried many
inhalers
and every one of them aggravated the restless legs. I am on Ropinirole, but still and all it got impossible for me to take. Are there any
inhalers
for COPD that would not aggravate the legs.

Tinnitus and high dose inhaled steroids
Does anyone know of research into high dose inhaled steroids and tinnitus. I have heard anecdotal evidence from people with asthma, but haven’t found anything online. I’d be interested because my tinnitus came on very suddenly and coincided with a change to higher dose steroid inhaler. Thank you!

Have just been diagnosed with bronchomalacia on top of asthma and adrenal insufficiency
During my last admission to hospital I was put under a very thorough Dr who diagnosed me with bronchomalacia and as there's no cure I've to take a lot of steroid
inhalers
and several other drugs to keep my airways clear.

Delays with prescriptions
I order early and have to monthly due to the
inhalers
I take. But it's getting silly. I am on the last few doses left. Worrying when we are not to stop taking them. Is it just me?
