I don't know why the specialist prescribed a low dose for me since my asthma is severe, uncontrolled and I have always been prescribed strong
inhalers
. I wonder if my family doctor can change me to a higher dose, or only a specialist can do it? Thank you for all your replies.

Terrible all over itch
Just about to have my 3rd Nucala injection but after the 2nd where I notice a big difference in my chest, my less coughing, breathing easier and reduced use of
inhalers
, I have developed an itch all over spoke to the chemist who thought it might be to do with the immune system being suppressed.

My G.P started me on
inhalers
while waiting for a Spiro test. In the meantime I consulted a Respiratory Professor, had a spirogram and test for nitric oxide levels, which confirmed Asthma. The consultant changed my
inhalers
to Fostair 100/6 2 puffs twice a day and be used when needed too.

Medical exemption certificate
I receive my hydroxycarbamide free from the hospital pharmacy , but have to pay for a prescription for my blood pressure tablets and asthma
inhalers
prescribed by my GP. I know certain medical conditions qualify you for all free prescriptions. What are other folks experiences in this area ?

Salbutamol & leg cramps.
Hello everyone, I've had a recent diagnosis of Asthma & was given two Salbutamol
inhalers
about a month ago. They seem to help the wheezing and coughing but I'm wondering if they cause cramp?

Using
inhalers
for the majority of my life apparently results in hoarseness so I’m going to ask about using Uniphyllin as an alternative to
inhalers
? Has anybody else had a good experience through swapping or are you taking Uniphyllin In addition to your existing
inhalers
?

Smart asthma app and monitoring system
Have just purchased the smart asthma home monitoring system that measures and tracks peak flow, tracks symptoms and Inhaler use for up to 2
inhalers
. Has anyone else with severe asthma used this and found it helpful?
