Inguinal hernia

Additionally, I have an inguinal hernia that will need to be repaired and my research suggests that the hernia repair will need to be performed prior to RT. Would appreciate any advice from those that have had a similar experience?

Hi has anyone here been diagnosed with an inguinal hernia and, if so, have they had treatment? I have been diagnosed with a small one after ultrasound, unusual in women. I still get a lot of pain in the left side, the side of the hernia.

I have been diagnosed with Osteoarthritis in my left hip and with inguinal hernia also in the left. I would like to know if the fact that my inguinal hernia is in the same side as my hip Osteoarthritis and near of the joint of my hip makes my Osteoarthritis worse

I had a laparoscopic right groin inguinal hernia repair in February and I have a right side swollen testicle over 5 weeks after surgery. all other aspects of my recovery seem fine and feeling comfortable just concerned right testicle swollen still swollen.

male here having inguinal hernia recurrent repair for the fifth time. not young anymore 81. now also recovering from a two week cold. was on amoxicillin for 10days. have a lot of fear about this coming event.

He’s been having pain in his hip and groin for a little while now and he’s just been diagnosed with a reducible inguinal hernia & is seeing a consultant on the 3rd December re having surgery or not. The US scan also showed troncheritis bursitis in the hip.

so we contacted our travel insurers today to update them on my husband’s appointment with the consultant last week, who has referred him for a CT scan for the inguinal hernia (which showed up as very small in a recent US scan).

GP checked for inguinal hernia, nothing. I have narrowed down the pain through research to be exactly like groin strain. It led me to cancel my holiday in July. Last night it came back. There's nothing I do, no pattern, except I had a shingles vaccine last week. No after effects.

Hello, I am a 51 year old male who has recently (10/24) been diagnosed with FND a couple of weeks after I had hiatal hernia repair. I presented to the ER short of breath and limping/spasming. Turns out the breathing was pulmonary emboli, but the gait stuff and numbness was referred to Neurology. Amazing
