hip Osteoarthritis and inguinal hernia

I have been diagnosed with Osteoarthritis in my left hip and with inguinal hernia also in the left.

I would like to know if the fact that my inguinal hernia is in the same side as my hip Osteoarthritis and near of the joint of my hip makes my Osteoarthritis worse
