Allergies: the scourge of modern life?
This might seem to be off-topic, and in many ways, it is. However we do see an awful lot of people here reporting that they have suffered allergies, or what appear to be the symptoms of allergic reactions, since being hypothyroid. Some already were sensitive, and seem more so. For others, these reactions

What I wish I had asked (when first diagnosed)
Hi everyone I’ve recently read an article about shared appts with doctors, and whilst it’s not something I would like personally, it does bring up an interesting point - very few people know what to ask when they’re first diagnosed (with asthma)! I know I never asked questions, mainly because at the

Asthma or not?
I was diagnosed with viral asthma on 10 September and I’m on the blue (since 10 September) and brown inhaler (since 14 September). I couldn’t get an asthma nurse’s appointment till a couple of days ago. She took a history, did a spirometry test (ok), watched my inhaler technique (good), told me my chest

Asthma later in life
Another season and while I once taught about asthma, I now have asthma too. It has started late in my life. It does give me more of an insight as to what I am teaching others about asthma. I had an allergy test and came out allergic to everything or to most triggers. I am glad that I know enough about

Talk Therapy
When you have anxiety, it can keep you in your head with thoughts that you dwell on over and over. This is my experience and one thing that helps me is to talk about how i am feeling, thoughts i am thinking and worries that rumunate. I worry a lot about physical symptoms and i know this sounds ridiculous

Private allergy testing
Dear all, I’m new to this community so...hello :) I wonder if anyone can give me advice in relation to my skin problem potentially allergy. I do not have known allergies (at least, nothing serious). However, since I was a kid, I always had weird itchiness (mostly on my face) and it looks like a mosquito

Allergy Test - food sensitivity?
Hi all, My son is 7 y.o. who is diagnosed with ADHD last year. He is going to have an allergy test next week as he shows allergy symptoms sometimes such as sneezing all day, stuffed nose, etc. probably from dust or pollen. Although we're taking him for non-food allergy reactions, I'd like to know if

Get rid of Food Visuals to Get rid of your excess Weight
One important step of losing weight is to delink - detach yourself from all Food Related visuals ( some call it food porn too). It has been proved that excessive talk about food or excessive exposure to food photographs, posters, magazines, sites, apps etc ultimately will lead you to seek that food

Rocking sensation UPDATE
***I posted this post below about 4 months ago. Since then my MRI and VNG test came back normal. My ENT said it’s most likely “migraine associated vertigo” but wants to do an allergy test and to maybe try vestibular therapy. Before doing that I visited a well respected chiropractor who told me maybe

Anxiety: the physical affects
Lately, when my anxiety is especially high I get itchy all over my body. I have had an extensive allergy test done and I am not allergic to anything. It makes me feel like those dipictions of drug addicts in movies/shows. Anyone else get this feeling? Is so, how do you cope with it?

Newly diagnosed Thyroid Cancer but have felt as though have had an under active thyroid for last 10 months
Dear friends, This is my first post so apologies if I’m not clear. I’m a 43 year old female who’s just been diagnosed with thyroid cancer and am waiting for 2nd fna and MRI results before I’m given a surgery date. I’ve been back and forth to my GP for 10 months until finally a locum DR physically checked

Can anyone advise best way to allergy test?
I've have another red rash on my face today again but thankfully my throat didn't tighten up this time. The first rash was a couple of weeks ago. I'm going to take an allergy test and I know a homeopath chap, so was thinking of making an appointment with him. Does anyone think this is a good way to

Allergy test positive
Got my results back from my tolerance test. I have a allergy against cows milk, yeast and peanuts. Started my new diet for a few days is going to take a while to get these allergy’s out if my system but I’m giving it a go. If he helps with my migraines I’ll do it.

MIGRAINE SUMMIT Notes - NON MEDICINAL TREATMENTS
ROBERT COWAN - NATURAL TREATMENTS. FROM THE CURRENT MIGRAINE SUMMIT. CONTINUES TODAY https://www.migraineworldsummit.com I thought these notes from his talk were interesting for people to see. He talked about non-medical treatments, a really interesting chat for those of us who don't want to swallow

5 migraines in 4 days
Hi, Feeling quite low today trying to rise above it but the older I’m getting the worst these bloody migraines affect me mentally. I’ve had 5 since Friday I don’t know what triggers mine I wish I did. I think mine are hormonal and stress related. I’m greeting a food allergy test tomorrow to see if that
