When can I stop the B12 and Vitamin D
I have had low vitamin B12 for a year once a week for the first month and now montlhy I've been on the injections for over a year and it has gone up from 163 to 359. Am I able to stop taking them? I also am on vitamin D for 2 years and this now normal range. Am I able to stop taking that too? Is it possible

Low ferritin
I saw a new endo this week and have just received the results from some bloods he requested I believe all look ok other than ferritin. Serum b12 1095 pg/ml (197-771) I do supplement b12 so not surprised it’s over range Serum folate >19.5 ug/l (>3.9) Ferritin 18 ug/l (30-400) note says low ferritin confirms

Will the NHS now listen to me on my latest Thyroid results, advice greatly appreciated.
Hi As many of you know i've posted here previously, to cut a very long story short (detailed in previous posts). I paid private to see an Endocrinologist after going to my GP with thyroid symptoms and my TSH being 6.8 and Thyroid antibodies of 58, and low vitamins from the GP testings. I didn't realise

B12 TESTING VERY VERY IMPORTANT
It has come to my attention after years and years of inadequate testing by the NHS in Scotland where the B12 serum test is used which is inadequate to identify a B12 deficiency. B12 serum tests are inadequate for purpose and dangerous depending on your postcode lottery scenario you may never get tested

Good evening all, My concern may be better placed in the PA pages but thought I would perhaps ask here first. I have recently changed doctors surgeries so have had routine bloods done. My thyroid levels are not perfect but I'm comfortable with them for the time being at my current dosage. I have however

Does injecting B12 deplete other vitamins ?
I’ve been SI B12 for more than 12 months. First weekly.....then after trial and error 1 every 2 weeks. At the start when I was deficient (B12) my GP also gave me 5mg Folic Acid. After my annual blood test last September I was put on 400ug Folic Acid.....my B12 levels were 3000 but GP didn’t mention

Vitamin B12 sublingual hydroxocobalamin
Hi everyone New to this community and first time posting. I'm a 68yr old male. Just recently diagnosed with clinically significant B12 and Folate deficiency also IFA negative. We are almost 100% sure I do not have PA , rather my body cannot make B12 which we think could be related to long term PPI use
