Vitamin B1
I have been recommended vitamin B1 by a friend as being helpful for RLS. I have always taken B12 and now am taking a multi B vitamin. Has anyone got experience with taking B1 and it’s usefulness?

B12 injections
I need B12 injections. Could any members tell me of their experience. My doctor has said my B12 is normal but it is almost out of range.

B12 conundrum
Hi all, read today on another platform that your symptoms when your b12 is low are the same as when your b12 is too high! To me this makes no sense at all, anyone with more b12 knowledge than me (wouldn't be hard) care to clear this up . Many thanks .

B-vitamins without B12?
Hi all, asking here as I haven't been able to find any through my own searches.. Does anyone know of a B complex that does not contain B12? My b12 is over range but I would still like to take the rest of the Bs to keep them balanced. Someone suggested I look for one that didn't contain b12 or maybe unmethlyated

Starting Levo. B vitamin supplementation without b12.
I’m due to start levothyroxine today and I want to optimise its effects by supplementing. I’m having monthly injections of Vit D and B12. I cannot take B12 orally as it causes nausea. Anybody know a good B supplement without B12? Also I eat a lot of foods containing B12 so hopefully that and a monthly

B12 deficiency genetic? Is it PA?
Over the years I have never had a B12 test over 250, was finally sent to hematologist when it got to 155. I have been folate deficient and ferritin deficient (am now on shots and had iron infusions). For the last two years I have been tested and tested for everything under the sun to find a cause for

MMA results - supplements or further test?
Can I ask for your advice please? I have Hashmito’s. Since learning that this can influence the absorption of nutrients, I have been to the doctor’s to request tests. Last B12 test: 229 ng/l (190-910) I used B12 symptoms checklist which suggests severe deficiency. Neither of this seemed to worry

Has anyone ever had an Iron infusion?
Having suffered from underactive thyroid for years and taking Levothyroxine with mixed results, I also suffer from low iron and ferritin and Vitamin D. I find it hard to get my levels of iron up despite eating red meat and green veg and supplementing, and wondered if anyone had tried an iron infusion

Iron tests
I spoke to my doctor today as I was concerned about my ferritin of 48 which was tested on 8th May, after reading that with high auto antibodies, which I also just found out I have, my ferritin should be over 100 to not have iron deficiency. She booked me in for iron studies tests next Wednesday at 11.25

diff between serum holotranscobalamin conc and serum vit B13
Morning all, what’s the difference between Serum Holotranscobalamin conc Serum vit B12 in simple terms 😂 I’m arguing (politely) with the Drs and need to be armed with facts and noticed my b12 results are : holo trans (66pmol/l) and serum B12 (327ng/l) both taken AFTER loading doses 3 months earlier

vitamin sprays
I see the vitamin D spray come highly recommended. But is it worth using a spray for other vitamins and minerals? There seems to be one for iron, methylfolate, B12 etc.

Top of Range Active B12
Hello I had a test at end of April and my results were >150 pmol/L for Active B12. The Medichecks doctor wrote that this was not an issue, but that my results meant that my B12 was probably not causing my symptoms. Is it possible to have pernicious anaemia, low intrinsic levels, with high active B12

On iron supplements but my ferritin did not increase
I started having a lot of symptoms of iron deficiency last year after correcting my long term B12 deficiency: dry mouth, palpitations, muscle twitches. It is possible that my iron had been low for a long time and I just didn't notice because my B12 had also been low. I started taking iron supplements
