Homeopathy
Hey kidney friends. I am wondering, do you take anything natural or use any sort of homeopathy for your symptoms of kidney disease/ failure? For example, I use baking soda to help keep my sodium bicarbonate levels normal.

Blood Results
Hi, Sorry it's taken so long to post my results but I have been quite poorly again with ulcerative colitis/diverticula problems. There don't appear to be any for FT3 & FT4, & I'm not sure about the VitB12 & Ferritin, but I don't really know what any of them mean. Total white blood count

Gut Microbiome & Prostate Cancer.
New study below. Popular interest in the gut microbiome is probably due to Dr. David Perlmutter, a neurologist & author of "Brain Maker: The Power of Gut Microbes to Heal and Protect Your Brain–for Life" (2015) [2]. One might ask if there is more to this than taking a daily probiotic, or even a prebiotic

Sodium bicarbonate/Dr Simoncini
There have been a few posts in this group referring to the work of Dr Simoncini using sodium bicarbonate. There is no known benefit to this treatment and several possible dangers. Amongst his claims are that cancer is, in fact, a fungus that can be cured by drinking (or even inhaling) a solution of sodium

Pain management
I have found a combination of naproxen sodium (NS)) and Hydromorphone (H) as needed was effective for managing cancer pain from bone metastasis. NS for pain level (PL)<3. H for pain level >3. Recently, as a result of fractured and compressed vertebrae, H continuously on a regular schedule was not enough

Imbruvica and low sodium
(Update: His kidney doctor has confirmed that it was, in fact, Imbruvica that most likely caused the low sodium issue and that they will be taking my dad off of it. He's doing much better now that his sodium level is increasing. ) All right, a few days ago I posted about how my dad had just started Imbruvica

If you have trouble sleeping, don't forget the Adrenal cocktail!
Awhile ago Dic Carlton recommended the Adrenal Cocktail as something very helpful with sleep, especially if one wakes up in the night and cannot get back to sleep, being wide awake. To keep this short, it is (and you can look this up) about 8 oz. orange juice, 1/4 tsp. Himalayan pink salt, 1/4 tsp.

IBS and Imodium
Now that I know I have IBS i'm pretty anxious about it, so I wondered; Should I take
Imodium
in the morning of my 9 hour flight? I use
Imodium
when I have diarrhea, however I have never used it in the hope that it will prevent it from happening.
