Does anybody know if Imodium affects rls please

I have a lot of nausea, I took an Imodium a week ago and I’ve still got quite bad pain. Is this coincidence? Thank you. My stomach problems only started after chemo and all the treatments years ago.

Maybe Imodium is my new normal to cope with ibs diarrhoea? Not buscapan? I need to eat carefully. I am on low hystimine diet. I have potential MCAS due to Covid virus. Any tips welcome please 💐

I take mint capsules daily but otherwise I have not resorted to Imodium as I have not need to go out. Not sure what to eat and need to get this sorted out. Off to Portugal on Sunday as I refuse to let IBS control my life. Any ideas?

I took 2 imodium 2 days ago and now Ive got cramps (I very rarely take imodium) can I now take movicol? I have ibs mixed any advice would be much appreciated?

Male, for the Last 4 years have suffered from IBS -D ( mainly diarrhoea )diagnosis after colonoscopy & associated blood tests I was advised by a specialist to take Imodium (loperamide) daily after first poo, I follow the FODMAP diet & LOW insoluble fibre.

On a slightly unrelated note - I have a new symptom that I cannot get under control at all - I’ve developed chronic diarrhoea, that won’t go away unless I religiously take Imodium (which I would prefer not to do).

Tried everything from imodium, to mebeverine, buscopan... topical h cream seems to help a bit. Any thoughts? Shared experiences? Feel like I'm loosing the plot here.

I've taken a sachet of movicol if it gives me diarrhea can I take imodium?

Imodium has not been its usual effective response. My Dr. does not seem overly concerned even if it is Graft Vs Host Disease (GVHD) Most of my other labs are still in the normal range, or holding fairly steady.

Prior to this I've been taking all sorts of different products including Silicol Gel, Imodium and other laxatives but Fybogel seems to work quite well with me. Does anyone else need to take Fybogel on a daily basis like me? If so have you had any side effects taking it all of the time?

Apart from 2 doses of paracetamol for shoulder pains and Imodium after i overdid the lactulose one time! suddenly I felt symptoms returning again and went for bloods to find ALT back up to 1525 and bilirubin 40 and looking jaundiced again. All too familiar.

Last 2 days I have had diarrhea (from something I ate, does not appear to be a bug) settled down this evening with the help of imodium. Started getting aches in hips and buttocks, now neck ache. Not too intense but worrying.

On top of his anti-rejection meds, he's also taking Imodium, Metamucil and a prescription anti-diarrheal for the next 2 weeks. Has barely made any progress at all. Prior to experiencing this bout of diarrhea, he abruptly stopped taking his Famotidine (Pepcid).

I am literally 7 stone heavier than I should be, I go to the toilet desperately sometimes a few days a week but I take Imodium several days a week also.

I have taken Imodium, Mebeverine, Dr Gut, Buscopan to no avail. Abdomen is still bloated and aches. Any suggestions? Also does anyone have suggestions of a good tested probiotic, as the last few I’ve used I’ve felt made it worse. thank you Rob

Imodium would take care of diarrhea. I found a regiment of 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt (Faye 2 % fat) helped with digestive distress and the bowel movements. I’m not sure if this would help anyone else but it’s worth a try. God bless everyone and good luck on your dealing with CLL.
