Fluctuations in Creatinine and Urea
I had 2/3's of my thyroid removed in June. At the time my Creatinine, Urea and Bloods where all fine (100, 6.4, Hb 135). Since the operation my TSH increased from .6 to 4.5, my Creatinine went to 160 then back to 130 within a few weeks, my Urea increased to 11.8 and now it's back to 6.5, my Hb went from

New Nephrologist!
If any of you remember, the first nephrologist I saw scared me to death. When I asked if diet would slow my progression of ckd and he coldly said nothing would help because my kidneys were shrinking, it was irreversible and progressive. I saw a younger nephrologist yesterday and even though he said

Night cramps 😢 and Night heat
Cramp in my legs and feet nearly every night. So painful I can barely move my leg an inch. I've tried massage, altering my electric bed so's raising my legs, lowering my legs, cold, heat. I am at a loss of what to do next or how to stop it happening in the 1st place. I do suffer with very low sodium

Hi ive been ill for a while but managed to get out the house today and get blood results. Although GP did request FT3/FT4, they did not do them. I was told that from now on if your TSH is within range they will not check regardless if GP requests it or not. TSH 0.62 Range mu/L 0.27 - 4.20mu/L CHOLESTEROL

I wonder if you can help. I have no thyroid, cancerous removal and presumably being suppressed. Imodium Plus Comfort
I suffer from what I suspect to be IBS with symptoms of stomach cramps, bloating and constipation. I'm doing the low FODMAP diet and in the re-introduction phase I picked up some Imodium Plus Comfort yesterday, so I can have these at the ready to take when I get my next flare up. I'm wondering if anyone

do you really know what you’re eating?
Ive done a lot of research on dieting and food over the years and I learned that there are many things I see people calling healthy that aren’t. I don’t necessarily blame anyone for not realizing, many millennials and gen z kids (especially americans) didn’t really learn practical life skills in school

Metformin and Valproic Acid Has a Greater Anti-tumoral Effect on PCa Growth In Vivo than Either Drug Alone.
New mouse study below [1]. From Wikipedia [2]: "Valproate (VPA), and its valproic acid, sodium valproate, and valproate semisodium forms, are medications primarily used to treat epilepsy and bipolar disorder and to prevent migraine headaches." My IBS
Hi guys, I’ve just joined and wanted to know how other people’s IBS effects them. I’ve had IBS all my life and it’s got worse the last few years to the point of going 10 times a day (on a good day) and I’m basically addicted to Imodium (Loperamide Hydrochloride) to help me go through the day. My IBS

Post ablation issues
Hi, I am now just over six weeks post Cryoablation, and I am still experiencing episodes of chaotic rhythm on a daily basis 😩 They seem to be more frequent now than at the beginning when they were just occasional, every couple of days or so.
