Vaccine priority
Apols if this has been covered before. Is there a protocol in UK for immunosuppressed patients getting priority for vaccine? I live in Brasil, and I am in Group 3, after 1) Front line workers, 2) Elderly, 75+.

Only water fasting after renal transplantation. How long is safe?
Has anybody done only water fasting for over 24 hours after kidney transplant? I had done 7-8 days of only water fasting prior to KT and now have been doing IF of 20/4. I’m also a vegan of 16 years. Is long period of fasting on water safe for renal transplant recipients on immunosuppressive meds? Thx

Pfizer vaccine concerns
There’s been a lot of comment about the Pfizer vaccine today, but still no info to say whether people on
immunosuppressants
will be able to have this vaccination? It’s a worrying time.

Germany not giving Astra Zeneca vaccine to over 65 year olds
After watching the news tonight and gearing that Germany are not giving the Astra Zeneca vaccine to over 65s because insufficient research had been carried out on older people. I am very concerned as I have PV and take hydroxycarbamide so therefore immunosuppressant and I had the Astra Zeneca vaccine

Rotavirus vaccination risks
I looked it up on the nhs website as I was looking to see if there were any risks to me, but on there it said that babies who’s mother has taken
immunosuppressants
through pregnancy or when breastfeeding (of which I have done both) shouldn’t have the vaccination.

Researchers Are Starting to Study the COVID-19 Vaccine in Autoimmune and Immunocompromised Patients
Picture: BMJ of covid-19 Although people who are on immunosuppressant medications were not included in clinical trials for the vaccines, we’re going to have more insights soon about how patients with inflammatory and autoimmune conditions fare after being vaccinated against COVID-19.

Treatment for dry, peeling lips
What do you use for Sjogrens dry, peeling lips? I have had lupus for 30 years, and a variety of dry eye and salivary gland issues, that have at times been severe. Been treated for both. Also have dry sinus, and sleep apnea. Even if I use items to prevent mouth breathing during sleeps, lips still
