Has anyone on Benapali had vaccine in Watford

Hi I’m so confused my sisters all have RA they live in Greater London they are all well controlled without any immunosuppressive treatments. I am the only one who takes Biologicals and yet the only one not yet invited for a vaccine even though I am older than 3 of them. I live in Watford Herts they live in Greater London Middlesex. I have had to be super careful for months so I don’t understand what is going on.

Has anyone in Watford in group 6 had their vaccine?

Everywhere is at different stages of their vaccination programme so your area may be behind your sisters areas. I’m sure it won’t be long before you get. It 😊

I’m not far away from you in Welwyn Garden City and was told today that I’m group 6 and it will just be a couple of weeks to wait. Same for my boss in St Albans. Not long now.

Hi I am only on one biologic and live in Middlesex. Have been told I am in group 6 and they have just started group 5 at my GP surgery.

Thank you all so just have to wait a bit longer. My GP is not great I complained about health issues for almost 5 years before I paid privately to see someone and was diagnosed with Seropositive RA. Was always told that even though I had high CRP and ESR it wasn’t anything to worry about- so now a bit paranoid about my GP. Thank you all

I live in Watford 👋👋

I haven’t heard a thing about my vaccine 😔 (am on Methotrexate).

Sadly.

My GP is ok, but if I don’t hear in a few weeks I think I’ll ring them. I work at a Sixth Form College, so until I get my vaccine I don’t feel comfortable going back (when the schools do actually go back of course).

Have you heard anything. Had a terrible call with my GP yesterday who was really negative about the vaccine told me I would not get it for a few weeks then no guarantee that it will work as won’t get second dose until summer and it’s only 70% effective and don’t know if it will protect against other variants. I felt so stressed and anxious after the call. Why would any GP be so damn negative

I’d take no notice of your GP’s negativity, millions of people have had the vaccine so far so it can’t be all bad. I’m sure it gives protection, maybe not fully until the second dose, but something is better than nothing.

Hi is anyone only on Benapali and over 50 and BAME still waiting for their vaccine ? My anxiety is going through the roof I have been flaring and was told by my GP I won’t get it for weeks. Feeling really sad 😢 and helpless

Try not to stress about it Mandi as that will make your flare worse. They will get to you soon don’t worry 🤗
