Hi does anyone know if people on immunosuppressant like us will get the vaccine ???? Hope everyone is keeping safe

Awww thank you hun I’m ok they said that lung thing is all to do with connective tissue as I have scoriatic arthritis x

North Essex - 84 yr old MIL due to have her 1st dose on Saturday, but (same GP Practice) her brother (81) had his 1st dose early December and had 2nd dose 3 weeks later. No rhyme or reason to how its being rolled out.

XEverybody will get a Corona Virus Vaccination eventually if they are over I think it’s 16. This week 70+ start to receive it although in this area 60+ have received it already.The Vaccine Minister is getting the numbers of vaccines distributed...it just seems the age bands are a bit confused!

I had my vaccine Sunday. Part of West Sussex is vaccinating its 70 plus group already.

That's interesting... my mother who lives in (presumably a different part of) West Sussex is in her 80's and is still waiting...

I've little doubt they'll get around to everyone eventuallyand do seem to be doing a pretty good job overall... but still not a little frustrating, especially when they're proudly announcing that the next "tier" down are starting to be vaccinated, for those who happen to be in the slower regions and are still waiting in a higher priority group

I'm CEV myself but (obviously) younger and live a little further along the coast... just hoping I don't get offered the vaccine before my mum does or I may have to keep quiet about it until she's had hers!

I am CEV so assumed I was called because of this but my neighbours where also called up without health problems but are 70 years of age.

I’m also CEV group too and my husband is 71 so we should be offered vaccine together

Hi Deejojo - I’m immune suppressed and I’ve had the vaccine, although it might not work as well, which is why I’m glad I had the Pfizer one.
