IMURAN AND ELEVATED LIVER FUNCTION TESTS
I have been taking Imuran 25mg for 3 weeks. LFT's tested at 2 weeks and OK! I now have mild stomach pain/discomfort and LFT's are slightly elevated. Is this a common side effect and should I continue taking the medication?

Trying Amityptyline for the first time
They have ranged in severity and frequency during those years, and I have taken
Imigran
and Synflex (which of which worked for a while and now cause severe nausea and vomiting).

Facial pain with migraine
I had to take
Imigran
at 5am. I try not to take them as much as possible. When I got up at 7am the skin on the left side of my face was soo sore to touch right into my hair and my teeth felt loose. My migraines are always in the back of my head/neck or left side of my head.

Liver Biopsy Results today.....
Tonight i learned i have PBC and Autoimmune Hepatitis overlapping each other. Crazy, I know. I've read a lot about Ursodiol /Actigall drug. I have been on it two weeks. It is supposed to help with the bile and relieve the itching. It will not stop progression of PBC since there is not a cure. If

Migraines for 30 years
They are very severe and when I have a bad one I use
imigran
injection sometimes 4 times in 24 hours which I know is very unsafe but it's the only thing that helps. I have tried all treatments without success. I would say migraine affects me everyday now to varying degrees. Is anyone else like me??

GCA, Pred and Imuran
Hi all. Diagnosed with GCA 4+ yrs ago. Had relapses at 1, 7, 5 and 4 mg pred/day. When I was on 8mg/d in July this year, Dr advised to take 15mg of Methotrexate once a week. Side effect was severe tiredeness days following taking the drug. Dr has now advised to replace Methotrexate with Imuran, an Azathioprine

Daughter with autoimmune probs
My 21 year old daughter has been worked up for Lupus for years. Her rheum says she has something autoimmune but no definitive diagnosis yet. She's on plaquenil and prednisone right now, prednisone has helped her tremendously with her pain. Unfortunately, she can't be on that forever so her rheum is talking

Has anyone experienced pain just under ribs or achy hips, back, and legs while on Imuran. I recently upped dose from 50mg to 100 and have been getting weird pains like never before. I went off Imuran for a week and pain in my legs went away. Then back on again and now rib pain is unbearable after

Headaches
There are no triggers and they are not migraines, although I do take
IMIGRAN
INJECTIONS to make them slightly bearable. My GP has prescribed me liquid morphine so that I do not have to go to A & E whenever the pain is unbearable. Does anyone else suffer with headaches like this? Many thanks

PMR and Imuran
I was diagnosed with PMR alittle over 2 years ago. Everytime I try to taper my dosage of prednisone, my inflammation levels increase. My Rheumy wants to add Imuran to help the inflammation and to wean me off prednisone, Has anyone here taken Imuran? Side effects?

Free Prescriptions for Asthmatics?
There is hope in
Imigran
injections for cluster attacks, so that is probably at least one a month, which comes to £98.40. And like I say, I could need more of something or spares of something or a new whatever.

Headaches/migraines - had them for 11 days now
My GP prescribed me Sumatriptan (
Imigran
) but it's not really helped any more than the usual painkillers I take which sometimes work, sometimes don't. Just to say that I am coming up to the menopause.

bDMARDS :(
Called the rheumy nurse today and found out that the company may not grant me compassionate grounds for biologics and I do not qualify otherwise due ti the latest failure on imuran. So back to square one it seems. wrote to the opposition Minister for health to ask why there are no compassionate grounds
