Im on Ursofalk and Entocort for PBC & AIH for a the past few months and have been feeling ok after the first couple of weeks.

However, I started on Imuran about 2 weeks ago and ever since, my stomach feels bloated, I have indigestion, and feel sick quite alot. Is this normal or should I let my consultant know??

Hi. About two weeks in after starting imuran I started throwing up (about an hour after taking it) I used take it in the morning and my GP suggested I take it just before bedtime and hopefully would be asleep before the nausea kicked in. It worked. Two years on I have no problems at all. I take it now with my Urso at evening meal time. Consultant says it takes a while for your body to start to tolerate it.

Thanks Junolee,

I'm willing to try anything at this stage. I've absolutely no appetite but know I have to eat.

Will try tomorrow.
