Natural modified clinic suggestions
Hi everyone, I want to start my fourth round of ivf this time privately as I had three failed rounds of
ICSI
at NHS. Can anyone please suggest clinics in London they have been successful with.

Reminder - embryo transfer webinar tonight!
If you’re having IVF/
ICSI
, we’ve got a webinar this evening to help you understand more about how decisions are made about how many embryos to transfer. Do you want to know more about how doctors and embryologists make decisions about this, what the guidance is and who makes the decisions?

My husband wants to end our fertility journey
Initially my husband and I were tagged as having unexplained infertility, through
ICSI
, 3 egg collections we transferred 7 embryos and suffered 3 miscarriages.

How much impact does a Binge session have on Sperm?
We are taking supplements and lifestyle changes before considering
ICSI
. My husband is on a binge drinking session today, I'm really annoyed as he said he wouldn't drink much. He also has one planned in May. His job is very stressful and I also worry that the stress is damaging his fertility.

High estrogen in middle of cycle
Hi everyone, I'm on day 8 of my
icsi
stims cycle and just had a call to say my estrogen is high and to reduce my gonalf dose. I'm already on a lower dose compared to my first ivf cycle (300ui bemfola). I'm on 225ui gonalf and they've asked me to reduce to 150ui.

A happy update for anyone who is interested - Blastocysts achieved
I was quite gutted about all of this as had been expecting more eggs and it was the first time we tried
ICSI
too so was hoping for more fertilisation. Anyhow I was full of doom and gloom and so many of you kindly picked me up when I was down...thank you.

Day 1 embryo feeling 💔
I’ve spoken to the embryologist today and of 14 eggs collected only 6 fertilised 2 got damaged with
ICSI
The remaining didn’t form why would this be ?? Does this mean the remaining 6 are likely to have problems after losing so many 😢

Second round - should be better but only 2 fertilised
With two immature and 3 to undergo
ICSI
. My partners sample has always been good but on the day it was a bit low on numbers - unexplained and unexpected - so the clinic chose
ICSI
. Today we've had the call that two have gone to day 3 with one being slow.

First day of medication for Round 1 of ICSI, husband tested positive for COVID
I've just started on norethisterone this morning. Five minutes later, my husband did a covid test for work that was positive. Does anyone know if clinics tend to cancel treatment if you get covid? Our forms asked us to declare if we'd had covid within the last 90 days so we're getting quite anxious.

45, 3 ‘top quality’ embryos transferred BFN
So saddened that after 6 years of trying naturally, including 3 IVF-
ICSI
cycles since 2020, facing so many interruptions and delays because the pandemic began, such a promising 3rd cycle has ended with a BFN 14dp3dt. A blood test yesterday confirmed it’s negative.

Success after tubes removed??
Does anyone have any success stories of
ICSI
working after having their tubes removed? After undergoing three cycles last year (two failed and one successful but ended in miscarriage) I was recommended to go and see a gynaecologist who specialises in fertility.

How do you deal with the sadness?
I’m 37 and we’ve just done a fresh round (our second - first we only got to morala stage) with
icsi
and I started spotting at 9dpt. Brown at first - I was stupidly excited thinking this was the magical implantation bleed.

IVF lab error - should I get a refund/ compensation?
The plan from my last cycle was to do
ICSI
with a fresh sample of my husbands sperm, if it was not high quality then lab had instructions from us, my consultant and nursing team to use back up frozen sample of sperm. We were told by embryologist that sperm was top quality on the day.

2nd round success stories?
This time I'm doing a short protocol
icsi
and it's nerve-wracking to be setting myself up for it all again! I'm in this weird limbo land of trying not to get my hopes up, whilst at the same time, being hopeful.
