No Embryos to Freeze - questions
However, of the 5 mature eggs, only 2 fertilised after
ICSI
which we were totally unprepared for and pretty devastated (I know some people get none out, but I just didn’t understand how many dropped off after
ICSI
).

I’ve just found out I’m 5 weeks pregnant after 3 years of trying, 2 years under clinic for infertility and 3 rounds of IVF/
ICSI
and 4 days after my positive preg test I’ve tested positive for Covid.

IVF stories
Mine is more straightforward, the husband had azoospermia so we did
ICSI
. Didn’t respond so well first round but still ended up lucky with our now 21 month old. Now trying again and better response with short protocol! would love to hear all of yours if you want to share!

Elective freeze - only one embryo made it
Hello, this is our fourth full cycle (our second in the hope of a sibling for our daughter who was conceived through
ICSI
2020 - she was our third transfer from our second cycle). We went into this cycle planning to do an elective freeze all as I've only ever had success with frozen transfers.

*sensitve* positive waiting for period to start egg collection number 2... need some guidance
I have been waiting to start meds for our 2nd egg collection following 1 failure and 2 miscarriagea with
icsi
. I have today tested, mainly to hurry it along as i always tend to pee on a stick then aunt flo pops her head around the corner. It has come back positive on two tests.

Daily Updates post egg collection: warning - good result which might not be what you want to read right now
I just know that when I went through my first round of
ICSI
in 2020, I was always desperately searching for daily updates post egg collection.

How important is morphology?
We will therefore not be referred for IVF /
ICSI
as other sources had suggested. Has anyone else encountered similar or have any understanding of the importance of morphology?

amh level please advise
We have been told we are finally closer to start the first ivf/
ICSI
cycle. We had the first call last week where they explained all the process, which was an awful download of information.

No fertilisation ICSI
We’ve just found out that our second round of
ICSI
also resulted in no fertilisation. We are devastated. We bought a package so we have one more chance but I want to take a break as at the moment I feel like I cannot do this again.

Need advice on next step, FET, more research or more IVF
The other option is that we continue with hormone stimulation in the hope that we get more eggs for placement later (we would do
ICSI
on further tries). What would you do? - Take the risk with the one fertilized egg you have and save time?

Need a break - how do you stay well and positive?
I'm just going through a heavy withdrawal bleed after my first go at
icsi
, which ended up being a freeze all cycle (due to overstimulation).

Diet and supplements? Total beginners!
My husband has a normal sperm count but with reduced motility and reduced morphology so it is suitable for
ICSI
treatment. Thank you to anyone who can offer us advice!

IVF vs ICSI for borderline MFI
Our FET was BFP but baby was growing slowly and heartbeat stopped at 10 weeks 😔 I’m wondering if we would be better doing IVF than
ICSI
next time? I know
ICSI
has slightly higher miscarriage rates and wonder whether them forcing fertilisation just made embryos that weren’t genetically sound…?

NHS Funding Question
We are now looking into IVF and
ICSI
. I’m wondering if anyone else has any experience of NHS funding and whether we would still be made to wait for the standard 2 years of trying or if they would progress things sooner because of the results?

I conceived my now 2.5 year old son via
ICSI
in 2019 and we recently decided we wanted to try for a sibling. On the cycle that resulted in my son we had 3 frozen embryos...but to cut a long story short we decided to let them go in 2020...so we had to do the whole process again.

DHEA supplements - do they affect ovulation?
hi all, I decided to start DHEA before our next IVF/
ICSI
due to male factor. I have normal ovulation and cycle, this month I noticed I did not have a peak ovulation day. LH was positive for a day and that’s it.
