Symptoms 3weeks post failed IVF/around ovulation time

Hello lovely people, I have a weird question, has anyone had any odd symptoms after a failed round of IVF/ISCI around the time ovulation is due?

I have diminished ovarian reserve and (as far as I’m aware from having tracked my bbt for a few months before treatment) I ovulate pretty much every other month. We had a miscarriage following a failed 1st round of ICSI 3 weeks ago and I was due to ovulate a few days ago. However, I’m cramping badly and fluctuating CM (usually a sign my body is trying to ovulate, but can’t/won’t) and I’ve got raging headaches, bloating, nausea cramping and acne.

I get bad PMS (cramps, nausea etc), but this feels savage! Has anyone else had similar more full on symptoms when ovulating (or not in my case!) for the first time after a failed round of IVF/ICSI? Thank you in advance! X

Hi all the meds and increased hormones we go through during IVF can still be lingering in our bodies after a failed cycle and can mess up our natural cycle for a while after. If your worried at all give your clinic a call they should be able to reassure you. X

thank you! That’s what I thought, but it’s just thrown me quite a bit! I’m hoping after my period comes things will cool off. Thank you again xx

Hi Green,

I have my 3rd egg transfered but unfortunately we are not so lucky.

I have a side effect however its different Im thirsty all the time, got dry throat so i keep my seld hydrated, i drink lots of water every day, its all in my throat it reallly weired.

I will write to my clinic about it soon, we will start our last ivf on March -May hope my litle rainbow will stick this time.
