Treatment in Scotland
After some festive soul searching my hubby and I feel rather than wait for Nhs treatment for
icsi
we would like to self fund. We are based in south west Scotland so would need to travel. Should we just be patient and wait or has anyone self funded? Keen to hear about experiences with both.

Can anyone share your expereince of ICSI after 40?
I had my first failed
ICSI
with two embryos transferred. Everything was going smooth during the process, and had no problem with my uterus. I thought it would succeed this time with two embryos implemented. But not the case.

Late period. Any advice?
I had my eggs collection back in November and then had
ICSI
. The 1 embryo is now frozen and ready to be implanted. I had a period 2 weeks after. But nothing in December, which was due on 14th December.

Anxious about starting second cycle
Also this time we'll be self funding and it's an awful lot of money especially as we need
Icsi
due to husband having azoospermia. If this doesn't work I don't think we can afford to do it again so it's an additional concern.

How to choose a private clinic
Sadly we had a failed NHS funded
ICSI
with donor sperm and it was our only shot. We're now gonna go private but trying to find a fertility clinic is very overwhelming. We live in Buckinghamshire.

2nd Time Lucky?
Hi All, I found out just before Christmas that our first round of
ICSI
failed and now awaiting our appointment to go back and discuss. I am feeling very low still and everything makes me want to cry. I cant seem to get myself back into being positive and strong like I was on the first round.

First IVF/ICSI round - total rest if I get pregnant?
My partner and I are going for our first round of IVF/
ICSI
in March. If all goes well, I would be pregnant for just 16 days and need to travel to Vienna for a work customer event I'm organizing.

Anyone who has followed my other post will know that my second fresh
icsi
cycle did not workout. I canāt even bring myself to ring the clinic and tell them yet. I thought that having one in the freezer would make me feel better, but at the moment it isnāt, it just feels like future heartache.

Struggling with diagnosis
We've been told we need
ICSI
at a cost of nearly 10k as our NHS has cut all funding so this is an added stress as we don't have this. I also need to lose weight which I'm struggling to motivate myself to do as it all feels so hopeless.
