ICD and induction hobs
I have just had an
ICD
fitted and now find there are a lot of different opinions as to whether you should use an induction hob or not. I cannot get 2 feet away from it to use as advised by guidelines. Anyone else had this problem?

Sex and Post Sex Bleeding
13 weeks post lap surgery this weekend. So yes I am trying to get back to normal after hours activities. I had the marina and fitted after previously being on nothing as nothing agreed with me! Anyway, prior to surgery I never used to bleed - maybe a little on wiping the day after but only a slightest

Fed up of hormonal contraceptives
I don’t know what to do. I’ve been trying different ones for the best part of 5 years and can’t find one to suit! I want to come off of hormonal contraceptives altogether but my GPs have always put me back on something. Should I go back to the GP? I’ve written below all that I’ve tried.... I can’t

Nexplanon Implant to IUD Coil
I have been on the Nexplanon Implant for 5yrs and I don’t feel it works for me, I am often getting extremely long periods (several weeks) that are fairly light, but constant spotting. I have noticed when I am bleeding that I can be very unreasonable and needy/clingy with others. I am considering the

I’ve had the kyleena coil fitted since July last year, and for the last 3 months I’ve started getting periods... is this normal or should I get it checked? I thought you didn’t get periods on the coil!

My experience.. can anyone help?
This is my first post and I’m a little nervous as I’ve never really done this kind of thing of talking with strangers. I’ve had endo since I was young, I’m waiting for my 3rd surgery. This time seems so different to the other times. So apologies in advance for the long post but this is what’s happened

Positive Merina Coil Stories .....
So I am 12 weeks post lap on Sunday. I had the merina fitted during this and graded at severe stage 4 Endo, adhesions all over the show and 8cm cyst removed and left with some urinary and bowel involvement (whatever that means) as those were the exact word she on my post op sheet. But horray for me,

Hormonal tears
Tonight I let myself cry hysterically like I haven’t in months and I blamed recent break ups/dating/loneliness until I remembered: 1) I haven’t cried like this in months 2) I also cried at glee earlier because they won something (it wasn’t even the main part 😂) So I came to the conclusion these are

Mirena coil/Hysteroscopy/Polypectomy
I’m 48 years old and been experiencing unusually heavy periods, severe cramping, passing clots etc for last 18+ months - much out of character. My periods have changed from every 28 days exactly to every 3 weeks and last for 7 days on average instead of the previous 3-5 days. I was referred to the gynaecologist

Getting Diagnosed with Endo
So, I'll try cut a long story short. Always had heavy periods from starting age 13. As I approached 18 I was having two periods a month, painful, heavy, sometimes clots, pain during sex, immense back pains and high body temp. Dr's told me I'm young, messy hormones, will settle, here is the mini Pill

Recently diagnosed
Hi everyone. I've just been recently diagnosed with endometriosis and have so much going through my mind. I thought I'd post on here to see if anyone had any advice. I was admitted to hospital on Feb this year due to suspected appendicitis. I had been suffering with pain on and off since last summer
