Hi, I've been on sertraline for 3 years started off on 100mg now im on 200mg.
For me, it softens the thoughts. You know it if you've missed taking them. No strange side affects.
Hi and welcome! I have been on Zoloft for about 8 years now. Like Headlock, I also started at 100mg but now take 200mg and I do notice a difference if I miss a couple of doses. Everybody responds differently to different drugs but I have never had any negative side effects. I hope this can work for you too!
I used it in the past and it honestly just made me a zombie. It didn't help my OCD at all and I had zero emotion.
It's been my medication for over a decade now (baring a brief spell on fluoxetine/prosac which didn't go very well). I think it works best for me without any noticeable side effects. Not claiming it's magicked everything away but without it I definitely struggle.
Started with 25mg. Increase to 50 now take 100 for 3 days now, will let you know what happens. Seems to be helpful but don't want to jump the gun like in the past.
Hi Strongest123 - I've been on Zoloft/Sertraline for many, many years now. My HUSBAND feels a difference if I'm not on it! I do too. If you try it, I hope it works for you. If it doesn't, then don't give up. There are several others to try. We're all different. 25 mg doesn't do anything for me, but 50 mg does.
