No period, negative pregnancy test
Hi, just after some advice really. Had the coil removed in dec 2019 to try for a baby (I’m 37). In May this year started with unbearable pains, cramping, excruciating pain during bowel movements. After numerous trips to a&e and my doctor I’m on a “urgent” waiting list to see a gynaecologist as the doctors

Periods stopping(?)
Hey again everyone, Just wanting to ask if anyone has experience of the Mirena and it stopping periods? How long did that take for you? Did you take the coil out instead? I’ve had once since Dec 2019 and was told it usually stops them by about the sixth month mark but I’ve just had significantly more

So many issues, so little time!
I have dilated cardiomyopathy which was controlled by drugs for 15 years or so, had an
ICD
fitted a few years back as a precaution (its fired twice now and if your on the list to have one and worrying, its not as bad as you think it will be!)

Do you have a cardiac device? Haiku time!
I know lots of us around here have a cardiac device (pacemaker,
ICD
, CRT-D/P, LVAD, mechanical valves, loop recorders, etc...) and I would love it if some of you were up for sharing your thoughts about living with a device over on my Hearty Tales project blog.

1st Time Post - Heart Failure - The Future?
I was then fitted with an
ICD
in June. I am currently well, no symptoms, no breathlessness, no fluid retention etc, but scare myself silly if I google anything to do with Heart Failure.

Has anyone stopped the pill completely for less side effects but not TTC?
Hi all, I had a laparoscopy end of 2016 which removed 'superficial endo' although was definitely in need of the surgery due to the pain. I have tried what feels like every pill on the planet and not got on with any. I now cannot take any oestrogen pills e.g. combined due to getting bad migraines which

Surgery for stage4 endo
Hi, I am scheduled for my second lap for stage4 endo. MRI suggestive of deep bowel endo, adhesions, adenomyosis and endometriomas. An IUD or an iral hormone pill, which would be better medication to continue after surgery? Right now i am on a dienogest from 6 months. Anyone with same experience? Any

Private consultation
Hi, I’ve booked an appointment with a private consultant who specialises in endo . I’m hoping to explore treatment options . I’ve never had a laparoscopy, I was diagnosed through an mri which was to assess an ovarian cyst . I’ve only ever been offered the coil and pain killers. I’m keen to get the

I've grown a GRAPEFRUIT!
Hi everyone. I had an ultrasound today, because I've always had super bad periods since I was young (I'm 38 now) where I bled so heavily and fainted/vomited from the pain. I don't faint now, but the bleeding is heavier, more big clots, unbelievable pain, pain when ovulating, pain when going to the

Irregular bleeding after coil removal. Help
I had the mirena coil removed at the start of August ( a year after I got it put in) to try for a baby. It's now October (over 3 months after it was removed), but no luck yet. Straight after the coil was removed I bled for around a week/ 8 days. In September my period was 9 days long and just now in

Roaccutane
Hi everyone, I’ve been on roaccutane since July, unfortunately upping my dose messed my joints up so I’m on a low dose and will be on it a bit longer. I started taking the mini pill (as the ladies know we have to go on contraception) but my body hates not having a period. I’ve been on it since feb
