I know have a pacemaker/
ICD
. My brain. I've been in and out of kidney failure. It is hard to get out of bed some days the pain is so bad. And I have no one to help. My husband is doing all he can. I just turned 34. Our plans for having a family have gone out the window.

New Diagnosis, feeling lost
Hello, I was finally officially diagnosed with endometriosis last Tuesday via a laparoscopy. My surgeon said my endometriosis was superficial and he was able to remove and treat well with ablation which is good news I think.. He also mentioned that having my coil (fitted previously) in place will help

Post Laparoscopy
Hi ladies, Had my laparoscopy on the 28th and they found and removed Endometriosis on my pelvic wall as well as a coil fitted. Now it’s a waiting game to see if it helps! It’s such a good feeling to finally have a diagnosis. They also mentioned that I have congested blood vessels in my pelvis. Has

She is obviously very scarred to not only have an
icd
fitted so young but also because the disease is progressive and there no cure. As this condition is genetic the whole family is now in the process of being screened. It would be lovely to hear from anyone who knows about this condition or

Returning to work -ICD
My boyfriend who is 23 had an
ICD
iserted last September and is almost cleared on going back to work. The issue is that he used to be a welder but has had to give that up due to the interferance it will have with the
ICD
. I guess my question is what kind of jobs have you found good.

Copper Coil
I had the copper coil IUD fitted a few days ago and ever since I’ve had a bad smell down there on and off and a light brown discharge... also I just transitioned from the pill and it was inserted on the last day of my period. What could this be? It’s making me miserable because I don’t know...

Hi I’m 2 weeks post lap and healing really really well and feel ok! The last two days I have had horrible pains ( almost period pain) and lower back pain. Is this the Mirena coil causing the pain?? Anyone have any advise on the coil ? Or what the pin could be? Thanks in advance xx

Unexplained pain
My daughter has been suffering with pain and heavy bleeding for five years. Her Gynocologist recommended an IUD which helped with the bleeding but the pain is so bad all of the time with spasms. She is 19 now and can’t work. She has pain all of the time not just monthly. She has had laparoscopic surgery

Hi everyone, this is the first time I’ve written on a forum, I just really need some reassurance that the dr is not giving me.
I’ve had my copper coil for almost 10 years now. I’m trying to book it on for removal to start trying for a family, it is really difficult to get it booked in the current COVID situation. My periods have always been heavier and a little painful on the IUD but I’ve kind of gotten used to it! However recently

I had a laparoscopy on the 4th and they inserted a medina coil as well. Although I believe I am healing well my periods are all over the place. My cycle has always been regularly since day one, never late or early and no spotting, before the surgery I had one injection where I had one period after having

Hyterscopy and miruena coil
Hello - like to know your experience of having a hyesterscopy - been told a few paracetamol all that is needed and also fit a miruena coil. Apparently I have Adenomyosis (as well as stage iv endo which I knew about) but wants to exclude womb cancer. Is this true it doesn’t hurt? Also any experiences

High heart rate since mirena iud removal
Has anyone else experienced this? It’s been 2 weeks since I had mine removed and I seem to be having a hard time getting my heart rate to act nice since. I was very well controlled on 25 mg a day of metropolol until this , hardly any pvcs any more ( which is still the case thank goodness) I have increased

OCD is my monster
I've been suffering from OCD since before it was even called OCD! All consuming and exhausting. All day everyday. The intrusive thoughts of dread . The nonsensical rituals to carry out so no harm comes to my loved ones. Rituals that get superceded. There is NO cure.

Mirena Coil Removal
Hi, I’ve had the mirena coil for a few years now but would like it to be removed. I went to my GP a few months ago to ask for it to be removed and they said that I have to go back and see a gynaecologist for it to be removed as they won’t be able to do it due to the fact I had the coil inserted whilst
