Ultrasound with IUD?
Hello, Does anyone know if any of the NHS services will provide an ultrasound scan with IUD fitting? I am considering getting the IUD but don't feel comfortable just guessing that "it all went well" once the procedure is done...

Hey guys! I had an abdominal ultrasound yesterday to check on my coil and they asked to do a vaginal scan, I tried but I couldn’t tolerate it, is anyone with endometriosis in the same boat? I feel so pathetic, I just get so scared 😢

Anyone pregnant on more a coil?
Any ladies out there been pregnant while on the mirena? Freaking out a bit here had some symptoms of pregnancy (mainly breast tenderness) which isn’t normal for me unless pregnant. So took a test and I could see the faintest of faint lines but it’s on 2 tests. Squinty eyes but when it dries it’s pink

RLS and progesterone birth control... trigger?
I was doing really well on 10/325 hydrocodone every night plus 1/2 pill of my .25 mg Requip to keep the RLS at bay. But lately, I have had a series of really bad nights (and then DAYS) when I can’t seem to get relief from my regular meds. The only thing I can think of that is different is that I got

Hello, I was diagnosed with Endo around 5 years ago. I was having surgery to remove ovarian cysts when they also spotted the Endo and performed a laparoscopy. I had a mirena coil fitted to help prevent it growing back. I am now married and we are trying for a baby! Coil was removed in June 2020 and

Why am I suddenly expiriencing cramping/ bleeding with an IUD? (Mirena coil)
I have had an IUS (Mirena) fitted for over a year and a half (have not had bleeding for any of this time) and have suddenly started experiencing bleeding/ painful cramping, is there anything that could explain this?

I'm feeling so overwhelmed, I don't know what to do now.
Hi, I hope you don't mid me posting this. I'm 23 and have been having some trouble now for over a year and a half and I feel no closer to managing pain or knowing what is wrong. I have been on the pill since I was 13 for horrendous periods that were causing me to miss school. Since then I have been on

Edoxaban
I have Dilated Cardiomyopathy with heart failure, have an
ICD
, and recently diagnosed with AF. My consultant has prescribed Edoxaban, which I have been on for 2 weeks. My skin has become very itchy all over, but no rash. I have headaches, dizziness and nausea, and am very tired.

Annual ranty post - I'm sorry in advance❤️
Welcome to my annual rant about this shitty condition. For the last 6-8 months, the pain I'd got so used to handling has skyrocketed tp the point that after a decade, I'm finally prescribed painkillers that aren't paracetamol or ibuprofen. Asked to be referred back to.my gynae at the beginning of November

Is anyone on implant with endo could you share your experience
Hi I was going to have a coil in after giving birth but after the ordeal I don't know if I can face the uncomfortable bit of it right now so was thinking of implant though I've not seen much literature on the implant and endo in the past before endo diagnosis I had it in as far as I remember no complaints

ICD ... 4 days post op
Afternoon all, Look away now if your squeamish🤦♂️♥️. This is my scar. Its the 1st time I have seen it and thought I would share it with the BHF forum. I feel like it is healing nicely. I think it's also good to log my recovery and experience. Also today is the first day I've been out of the house

How long does a jaydess coil last
I had the coil fitted on the 19th of may 2019 by a male nurse who didn’t fit coils on a regular basis. He was filling in for a doctor who had taken leave. He measured my cervix and told me it’s short and that I needed the jaydess coil as it was smaller. After I got it fitted he handed me a card with

Post Laparoscopic Surgery
Hi Everyone, I was diagnosed with widespread Endometriosis on the 19th January after a Laparoscopic surgery and having the affected areas ‘burned.’ I’m recovering okay, although I’m feeling extremely overwhelmed, lonely and emotional which I’m sure is normal. I wondered if anyone could offer advice
