Is PMR always bilateral?
Paracetamol helps, as does
Ibuprofen
(I’m avoiding the latter as I’ve had a stent in one of my heart arteries). One of the GPs I’m seeing says PMR is bilateral so it’s unlikely and that I should continue reducing.

Day 4 after circumcision
Today the swelling was real but after taking
ibuprofen
and paracetamol the swelling seem to have gone down. I still see some blood dots (really small dot) when I change my bandages, hope that’s normal! Looking forward to these dissolvable stitches to go away!

TCZ 7 months in, and tapering Pred,- update.
) Neither paracetamol or
Ibuprofen
made any noticeable difference. So, I wrote to the rheumatologist describing this, suggesting I return to taking Pred at 5mg ( where I last felt ok ) and do a much slower taper.

What painkillers to use lovely people?
Hello you lot, me again, I’ve done my back in knocking up cement on Saturday, lower back, what painkillers do you guys use and is it ok to use
ibuprofen
with Af? I’m using cocodomol at the minute but it’s not quite doing the trick. Hope you’ve all had a better weekend than me 🤣.

My RA is nearly always one-sided
I use
Ibuprofen
and at night I seem to be able to get comfy and sleep as well as I normally do. As soon as I get up I can barely put weight on my right leg. Should I be resting or push myself?

Hand Injury
My doctor at the time told me to take naproxen which helped a bit but the pain now mainly flares up at night only and i need to take
ibuprofen
to get to sleep. There has been a considerable amount of time that has passed since the original injury. I have now went private and have to wait for a mri.

Took
ibuprofen
with little relief. This was on a Friday and continued all weekend. Over the weekend the left temporal artery started swelling and became tender to touch.

Recurred G9 after surgery. Painful lymph nodes, mass and hip met.
Pain is being controlled with
Ibuprofen
, but it seems I need to increase it. I'm concerned about stomach issues. I Med Onco wants me to go the Lupron + Taxotere route. I've seen others go other routes such as HT+Zytiga or some other combo.

Should the pain return after the first taper?
I wonder if its something else, I do have arthritis in my back, hips and feet and I take 6
ibuprofen
a day too for the pain in those, but I was really hoping that the pain free would last longer than the first 3 weeks and taper?

I’ve been taking
ibuprofen
since Friday for muscle inflammation. I can’t take a lot of pain meds so
ibuprofen
is the only one that works. I get frequent muscle pain in my upper left back. Someone on fb has said we’re not allowed to take
ibuprofen
? Why not? I don’t take aspirin

Cerrelle constant bleeding
Now I only have
ibuprofen
and hot water bottles. It’s miserable. Although not as heavy as my usual it’s still quite bad for the regular person. I’ve decided to stop taking it today. I was thinking of just buying the combination pill and fuck it.
