Endo pain driving me mad ... Could I be depressed?
Feels sooooooooo great reading your stories can relate to so many and finally feels like somebody feels my pain literally lol :) I was diagnosed with endometriosis about 4 years ago in 2011, following a
hysteroscopy
for removal of polys.

I had a diagnostic laparoscopy,
hysteroscopy
and D&C in February 2014 - the only reason it was in the Feb and not any longer was because I had to have emergency surgery for an abscess from an ingrown hair and the consultant wanted to do it all together - otherwise I would have been waiting longer!

Laparoscopy
After this appointment they took my bloods and put me on the surgery list to have a laparoscopy and a
hysteroscopy
within the next 12 weeks. It seems that i needed to take the lead and present them with information and be very assertive with my answers in order for them to take me seriously.

Can a hysteroscopy detect endo?
Can a
hysteroscopy
detect any signs of endometriosis? I had meant to ask the gynae but after an unsuccessful conscious gynae procedure developed severe migraine and everything went out of my head. Thanks for any help.

Fed up with gyn's
Was to have lap for removal of endometriomas,
hysteroscopy
and mirena insertion. I have other health issues but gynae agreed. Next thing goal posts were moved & was told its too risky - my own medical team think im well enough. She wanted to treat with mirena & if not helpful would reconsider lap.

just wondering and worried
Saw gynocologoist 2/1/15. send needed a
hysteroscopy
. This was carried out in 9/2/15. Confirmed this and nothing on either ovary. Saw consultant again thought I would be suitable for Uterine Artery Embolisation. (the artery to womb are blocked allowing fibroids to shrivel and shrink).

Wales - referral to England
I'm due a laparoscopy and
hysteroscopy
but have done lots of research and am not at all impressed with the surgeon's credentials for the job. They also don't perform excision surgery there, only lasering. Many thanks X

They found endo but left it there- why?!?
and the implant (which made things worse for me) they decided upon a laparoscopy and
hysteroscopy
to find out the cause. That was last Monday. When I was consented for the op they said they would look and if they found endometriosis the.

It never ends!
If a polyp then once collected eggs will freeze them and do a
hysteroscopy
. Then later do embryo transfer using frozen eggs, not fresh. 3. My uterus looks like it has never fully developed. Something to do with it is usually 2 parts which join when pregnant but I only have 1?

Pain is back and worse than ever!!!
Well I was diagnosed with a polyp in my uterus a couple of weeks ago I'm waiting for surgery to remove it as they said it was too big to remove while doing the
hysteroscopy
. I'm also seeing the gynea on the 27th I am going to ask for a laparoscopy as they said polyps shouldn't cause pain???

MRI results.
I have now been referred to stepping hill for surgery but as I went through an abdominal subtotal hysterectomy last march and
hysteroscopy
and polyp ectomy the April before I'm really angry how could all this go unnoticed, especially with all the pain and suffering I've gone through over the years.

We fall and pick ourselves up again...
As such I was offered a pelvic laparoscopy (with dye test) and
Hysteroscopy
to clear the Endometriosis and hopefully enhance our chances of conceiving naturally. That gave me a little window of hope and filled me with optimism 😊. After along wait I finally had my surgery(2wks).

Two weeks later...
Also had a
hysteroscopy
and removed some endometrial thickening. The last few days thought I was having a bit of a break through and started to feel a lot better, pain seemed better, the bleeding stopped etc.

Stitches
It's been 9 days since the laparoscopy and
hysteroscopy
. I have 3 wounds (as I call them), the largest is of course my belly button, it looks horrendous! And has just made me feel dizzy and I have gone really pale. Will this gradually improve and look half normal?

Hysteroscopy
Hi all why would my gyneacologist send me for this I've had ultrasound shows thickend lining of uterus and fluid that shouldn't be there. I had Gynae examination and he said all felt normal but need to have this done. The reason for investigations is severe pain in hips pelvis and back for 7 weeks constant

Post Lap/Cystoscopy/Hysteroscopy Pain
Hi All, I had my surgery last Monday, went in with diagnosis of unknown cause of pain (as no two doctors could agree on the cause.....I finally found an AMAZING specialist. Came out having had my endometrioma removed and the discovery of Recto-Vaginal endo affecting my uterosacral ligaments as well
