Can’t go on, but not ready to give up…
which was inconclusive so went for a 5th cycle 5th cycle - BFN I had another
hysteroscopy
under GA which found more scarring which was from the D&C and basically told me I’d been wasting my time the whole last year as it would have been near impossible for the embryo to survive there Follow up

Recently diagnosed with Cystocele and today’s follow up ultrasound shows an ovarian cyst.
Today 1st July I’ve received a letter saying I now need a
Hysteroscopy
. I’ve read the enclosed info sheet and I’m feeling rather concerned. Not looking forward to potentially going through more pain. No anaesthetic. anyone had this procedure?

Should I reduce my desogestrel dose?
The surgery is a
hysteroscopy
with potential laparoscopy- I was on a waiting list for the
hysteroscopy
before and went in for the procedure to be told I don't need it. Then to go back for a follow up to be told I do need it again and go back on the waiting list.

Conflicting advice - do we do extra tests or not?
The new clinic recommended a series of tests before a new cycle - Emma and Alice, decidual testing,
hysteroscopy
and a sperm investigation. The costs really stack up , almost £5k! We’re in two minds about what to do - the tests are pricey but may save us having repeat failures in the future?

Fibroids and Norethisterone, bleeding and spotting
Assuming the
hysteroscopy
doesn't find anything else, the scale of my fibroids mean a hysterectomy is the most likely course of treatment. But I don't know if I can handle the daily irregular flow that makes daily life almost impossible between then and now.

What worked for your BFP ?
All immunology came back ok and
hysteroscopy
results were absolutely fine. Just no explanation for my infertility it’s just so strange. Despite the tests being fine this time my consultant is giving me steroids, blood thinning injections, extra progesterone pessaries and luibon.

EMMA and ALICE
In order to give it the best chance I can, the consultant has recommended having EMMA and ALICE tests and a
Hysteroscopy
to check whether there's anything causing the miscarriages. There's clearly no problem with implantation as I saw the pregnancy on a scan the first 3 times.

endo ablation & labia cyst removal
July had
hysteroscopy
and removed fibroids. August just had more surgery an endo ablation and labia cyst removed. might I add I’ve already had this bloody cyst removed once in 2022. Had surgery on Tuesday, and I feel like absolute death! I’m not even sure what hurts most anymore!

Post Surgery Query
Hi there, I had a lap,
hysteroscopy
and curettage 3 days ago. Unattached ovary from back of uterus and removed the scar tissue from it, excision of 3 points of endo on other ovary, slight ablation of endo on bladder and removed a big piece of tissue from top to bottom of uterus.

Cost and availability of hysteroscopy in Leeds, UK
Hello, does anybody know the cost and availability of
hysteroscopy
in Leeds, UK... Is it something I could arrange quickly? I'm not sure where and at what cost... Maybe Spire or Nuffield. I think Care fertility no longer offer. Struggling to get on NHS for small amount of retained tissue Thanks

uterine polyps and endometriosis
I had a
hysteroscopy
for polys removal just under a year ago. I struggled with bleeding in between my periods. The bleeding went away after the polyps removal. However , from my last scan, the polyps seem to have returned and the bleeding between periods have started again.

Endometrial build up on right uterine wall
I had a
hysteroscopy

Mirena/IUD - how was it for you?
At the same time, had a

Hysteroscopy bleeding
I had
hysteroscopy
on 14th of December to remove polyp. It was a but painful (I went without sedation) but bearable and quick. Had no bleeding afterwards. On 19th of December I had my first day of periods, as it was due.

Trouble peeing after fibroid removal
Hi All, I had a
hysteroscopy
with general anaesthetic yesterday, and 2 fibroids were removed from my uterus. I have trouble peeing since yesterday. I can’t pee continuously, it stops and I have to try again. I can’t feel if my bladder is completely empty or not.
