So far this year I feel I’m falling apart at 63 years old. Bad knees, diagnosed as Osteoarthritis, long term IBS, Diabetes, weight loss.

With the prolapse I was thinking of first treating with physio and oestrogen cream and seeing how it goes. But I’m constantly feeling I need to pass urine, it’s getting me down. Now today told I have an ovarian cyst.

Has anyone else had the same experience and what did you do?

Today 1st July I’ve received a letter saying I now need a Hysteroscopy. I’ve read the enclosed info sheet and I’m feeling rather concerned. Not looking forward to potentially going through more pain. No anaesthetic.

anyone had this procedure?

I’ve had ovarian cysts, one big cyst and ovary were removed a long time ago in my teens, then I had another which ruptured. Last one I had for years but was left alone as not symptomatic, however 5 months ago I had a hysterectomy because of fibroid so everything is now gone 👍

Thank you Bantam12. Glad everything is sorted. I’m not sure which way this will go. The consultant should hopefully get back in touch when he has seen my scan results. 🤞

For the cyst take Thuja 30 homeopathic remedy - it is great for cysts. My Mum had a bleeding polyp on her bladder and a homeopath got rid of it with Thuja. It won't cause any harm and may just help you.Just make sure you leave about 20 minutes before taking food or drink .Hope it helps you.xx

Hi Marilyd.

Thanks for the tip. I’ll investigate and see if ok to take with my other meds.

Regards

Jo

yesterday I had my Hysteroscopy procedure to check why I have bleeding now and again and also to make sure I didn’t need any additional surgery during the prolapse bladder surgery. My womb lining should be approx 4cm as post menopausal but it’s 9mm. I was found yesterday to have a couple of ovarian cysts and a couple of polyps in the uterus about the size of a Malteser. Biopsies were taken and results in 4-6 weeks. 🤞
