Why does sitting up have to be such a pain post-op?! Is this normal or should I be concerned?
I’ve just passed two weeks post op, heading in to week 3 (laparoscopy and
hysteroscopy
) and hoping to see if people have experienced the same when it comes to adjusting back to ‘normal’ life.

HELP please - migrated coil
after a gynae Dr forcefully tried to remove it, unsuccessfully, I was told I’d be brought in for a general anaesthetic and a
hysteroscopy
within a fortnight. I ended up waiting 10 weeks. The
hysteroscopy
was a failure as they couldn’t see the coil in my uterus.

Hysteroscopy - general anaesthetic?
hi I’m going to be having a
Hysteroscopy
in a few months. Have just come out of hospital after being admitted for 4 days due to a horrendous infection in one of my fallopian tubes.

Is Laparoscopy worth it based on my symptoms?
I then get referred to a gynaecologist who also recommends a laparoscopy alongside the
hysteroscopy
. I have option to wait 12 plus months on nhs or go private. No signs of endo or pcos were found on scan at fertility clinic but as I understand endo is not usually recognised on scan.

4th collection the worst one yet.
This one has crucified me financially (450iu ovaleap for 14 days), plus 6 months of DHEA, a failed scratch and the extra cost of another
hysteroscopy
which revealed nothing. We got 4 eggs, and I’ve had the call this morning to say all of them have fertilised abnormally.

I have also done a
hysteroscopy
which showed a septum and it was excised during the operation. We have transferred our only PGT A embryo on 26/4/2023. 7 days later we did a pregnancy test which showed a positive.

Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy D&C polypectomy - Help!
Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has had the above procedures and whether this helped them get pregnant either naturally or through IVF? My gynaecologist has recommended the above but I’m worried it could make getting pregnant more difficult. Any success stories?? Thank you! x x

End of my patience really unsure what to do feel completely alone and like nobody is listening Consultant confusing me what is wrong with me
She scans me again with internal wand and says my lining is much thicker than she would like and decides to do a
hysteroscopy
there and then my god it hurt and I could barely tolerate the pain with no pain relief it was brutal so she stopped it quickly but said no polyps.

Is it worth getting a second opinion?
Also, I have had a diagnostic laparoscopy,
hysteroscopy
and polypectomy all of which were clear and showed no signs of concern. However whenever I describe my troubles with my periods, everyone always queries if I have endometriosis. My periods are very painful, heavy and clotted.

Prostap for Endometriosis?
(For background, there are no polyps or adenomyosis ruled out by
hysteroscopy
, no bowel issues ruled out by colonoscopy, ultrasound and MRI found nothing, and can’t have mirena due to uterus shape. I’m 50 and very peri menopausal!)

Can these failures all caused by a single polyp? Help please! (4th failed transfer potentially...)
The only thing left to try is another
Hysteroscopy
to remove a potential polyp - I did
Hysteroscopy
before this cycle. But they didn't detect any polyp during the procedure.

HELP!
I’m awaiting biopsy results too after a
hysteroscopy
and can’t help but wonder if there is something sinister as my lining is still abnormally thick even after my period I just feel like giving up, if this is how the rest of my life is going to be then I don’t want to be here anymore!

Hysteroscopy
Just wondering if anyone could recommend a clinic in London for a
hysteroscopy
? I’ve had an initial consultation in Scotland today but would have to wait until mid May unless they have a cancellation. I’ve got holidays over Easter and was hoping to get it done then.

Lack of fertile cervical mucus....why
I did have a lap/
hysteroscopy
end of April but this was happening for a few months before that, maybe even longer I haven't really thought much of it until this cycle. Am due to ovulate any day (I use ovulation tests and an ovusense BBT to track ovulation) but still nothing, dry as a bone.

Chronic Endometritis
Hey lovely ladies! My question today related to endometritis/chronic uterine inflammation. I have done 4 hysteroscopies so far (two in 2021, one in 2022, one in 2023), each time the inflamed endometrium came out, with a "strawberry" appearance. After the tests, I came out positive for Ureaplasma (at

When is a Hysteroscopy needed - IVF failures
At my last consultation I brought up the need for a
Hysteroscopy
, but he felt that as I have never had fibroids/ cysts there is not need for this. I have endo but 3x consultants have told me IVF negates endo issues… 🤷🏼♀️ I am wondering if I should push for this as part of a piece of the puzzle?
