We had our follow up appointment last week with our consultant following the failure of our chromosonally normal embryo. We threw the kitchen sink at the transfer (IMSI, ERA, Alice, Emma, Hysteroscopy, probiotics, intralipids and HSG flush).
The consultant has recommended trying PIMSI for the next round. Does anyone have any experience with it?
Thanks!x

This is a technique that helps to identify the hopefully" Ideal " sperm for fertilising the egg- take a look at hfea.gov.uk Treatment Add ons for further information
We did it because of high DNA fragmentation and I honestly think it helped us have better fertilisation rates and 1 PGT A normal embryo from each round of egg collection. Still on the journey after 1 failed FET, but we think that was due to immune and thyroid issues. Aiming for the next transfer in Jan so fingers crossed.
I am not exactly sure so i hope someone clarifies. I think in classic icsi the embryologist selects the best looking sperm, just the microscope and the embryologist's assessment, no special method. In all other ways picsi, imsi, zymot, they use additional procedures, maybe special fluid, high magnification microscope or a membrane to select the best sperm.
