Post Lap findings and IBS

Hi everyone,

I had a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy on Wednesday. The surgeon found numerous areas of endo outside of my uterus and was luckily able to remove most of it which I am so relieved about.

One thing she did find was that part of my bowel was stuck to my stomach, known as an adhesion I believe. Completely unrelated to endo but she managed to split it off.

I have suffered with ibs (mostly D) for over 15 years now. I am just wondering if this has been causing my ibs symptoms over the years? Has anyone had this before and relief from it being split off?

I am trying not to get my hopes up, but really hard to tell what is going on right now. I haven’t been to the toilet since before my surgery, I assume because of the coidine bunging me up!

Thanks xx
