Heyyy my lovely people hope you are all well! I've finally feel completely myself thank God for that! No bleeding, hairloss is slowing down, I've finally stopped putting weight on 😁😂 It's been hell of a time last two months, I've felt like a 💩 most days 😂 even though I've pretended I'm okay hahaha. I feel after every failed pregnancy my body takes longer to recover. But it is what it is 🙈😁
I've seen the new recurrent miscarriage consultant in our local hospital and my my why are they soooo unhelpful and ignorant. The one positive thing is that I can skip waiting times and get a hysteroscopy next month. The consultant hurried to inform me that with the hysteroscopy their job is done as they cant offer me any other investigation. I've asked him to refer me to Tommy's and he looked me in the eyes and asked me "Why do you you want to go there?" And I'm like "Excuse me but do you know why I'm here". Anyway he said I have to ask my GP to refer me. Is it my luck with the recurring miscarriage consultants, or they are just not really helpful? I was hoping this one would be different as he just took over but I was disappointed again.
Anyway, back to the topic. I would like to arrange to get Emma and Alice done. I live in West Sussex and I don't think the couple of clinics around me do these.
Can you PM me with clinics around London who can get these tests done and how much have you paid for it! Thank you very much!
Lots of love to you all!

helllo I am sooo glad you are back to feeling yourself again. 🥰🥰 and super chuffed you are getting the hysterocopy sooner.
I can’t advise on clinics I’m afraid I’m a wee bit too far away. I’d maybe try and get the era at the same time …. They are already in there 😂 I wish you sooo much love and good luck. Xxx
Thank youuuu 😍❤️ I thought if I don't Nagar to get them done here I'll probably fly to Turkey earlier prior to my transfer and have them done there xHope you are feeling better x 😍❤️😍❤️
You look great 😁 by the way 😍I wanted to mention that you can email Tommy's directly, have a look on the internet for an email address. Write them yourself without referral and see what they will say. I did it myself to the hospital in Coventry and they were so happy to help, they contacted me over the phone and after that we met at the hospital. I found beautiful people there that helped me a lot, nice and very carrying.
Also they offered me to have one of the tests done there (Alice or Emma) and NK cells all for free. I also participated to a trial. We been successful after that.
Missed to mention that I contacted numerous private clinics for Alice and Emma all over the country and all refused me because I wasn't their permanent patient. Wasn't straightforward for me.
It's great you've met lovely people who were able to help you achieve your dream! It's so important to have people fully on board who are willing to go the extra mile to help! Thats the thing with private clinics, if you aren't their patient they aren't willing to investigate.
I'll email Tommy's myself. Contacting my GP and asking for a referral is almost impossible these days 🙈😍❤️
Hey lovely, glad to hear you are feeling more you 💞.
I self referred myself to Tommy at Coventry & Warwick hospital. I’ve had a few mmc . Initially it was for the NK cell biopsy which I know you’ve had, Prof Brosnans is dong another test for repeat mmc, it looks at the Protein's in the uterus. It’s a test he’s developing.
Glad you are starting to feel more yourself 🤗 you’ve had such a yoke of it lately 💜your picture made me smile too, the beach in this weather love it!!
Ugh to the unhelpful miscarriage consultant, why do that kind of job if you don’t know how to ‘people’? No advice on the Emma Alice but just wanted to say 👋🏼 xx
I know they are just ticking boxes. When I and the appointment I entered the room and asked "Sooo, are you the doctor who will finally help me" and I didn't get a reply so I knew not to count on it 😁🙈How are you doing? Have you tested yet 🙈😁
yeah no reply to that question wasn’t a great start!! Yeah tested a few times with a faint line that doesn’t seem to be progressing so I’m just waiting to see what happens 🙈 but think I know it’s not good news deep down xx
Hello my lovely. Lovely to see you back and Im happy you are feeling better than before. London Womens Clinic have an Implantation Centre which do these tests. I havent been or know the price but a few ladies have mentioned it here. I hope it all goes well. Ps love the picture xx
I used the LWC Implantation Centre Applepie7 mentions, as I liked the idea of getting several tests done in one go, with the one biopsy. Feel free to PM me @Klndmr if you want any details or experiences! xx
I was also going to say that you can go to Tommy's/ recurring miscarriage or Implantation failure research centre at Warwick university (Coventry hospital) via self referral. You should find details via Google. Prof Brosens is doing lots of research in this area. I'm in Surrey so a bit of a trek but worth it i think. On the other tests you are after I think there is a clinic in Woking.
Hi I am glad to hear that your feeling better & more like yourself after these last few months , sure does take its toll on your body/physical/mental/emotional health.
I can’t offer any advice on clinics, but when I was looking at Tommy’s website previously you can self refer. Your recurrent miscarriage consultant sounds awful !! Why are they not more helpful especially working in such a sensitive department. There is no compassion these days it’s all so clinical & unhelpful.
Hope all goes well with the hysteroscopy , glad there is not much waiting for that , just to know you have a plan ahead with these tests can make all the difference . Take care xx
Thank you for your reply! Hope you are doing well ❤️❤️❤️I did look multiple times at Tommy's website but everywhere it says you need to be referred by the GP. Will try to contact them and see what happens.
Normally in our area the waiting time for hysteroscopy is up to 60 weeks if referred by the GP. But when I told the recurrent miscarriage consultant I'm planning another transfer in April he said he can fit me in in January. Even though I still don't have a date hopefully he will keep his promise let's see ❤️
I sometimes feel nobody takes me seriously because all my losses have been very early. They just say "awwww bless you" and that's it. Nobody has ever actually told me "I'll help you, let's see what we can do". And I soo want someone to help me ❤️ We all need someone to actually take the time and try to help us with all they can ❤️
I do hope your consultant sticks to his word for the hysteroscopy in January, no one has the time in this game to be waiting 60 weeks for such tests.
I hope you can speak to your GP about the tommy's referral, they will definitely be of a more caring nature, they specialise in loss and the research in to lot's of factors. there clinics are meant to be great.
It is so upsetting how they treat you not taking you seriously after so many losses ❤️, it should not matter how early on the losses are, every miscarriage is a baby lost no matter the gestation.
I have found that the fertility clinics are really helpful , compassionate , caring, then when you leave there everywhere else in this department just does not have that kind of care. when I was discharged to the maternity services in my pregnancy last year every thing just seemed so lapse and like I was just another number, they had no time for me and definitely did not have the caring nature. by the sounds of it the recurrent miscarriage department sounds the same.
