Has anyone done a hysteroscopy with normal previous imaging (mri) and found something that was corrected with a positive result after?

Hysteroscopy- thoughts

yes I had it done twice. Both time removed massive scar tissue from previous miscarriages that would have not allowed a viable pregnancy to happen
hi, yes I had exactly that!.. MRI was perfect but hysteroscopy showed Adhesions and a polyp of 3cm… which didn’t look like a polyp at all according to my Dr, it was only confirmed via biopsy. I then was tested for Ureaplasma & it came back positive. Once I had two weeks of antibiotics, I got pregnant straightaway. It ended is miscarriage @ 7w & straight after that one, I had another very early one. I’ve decided to start IVF again for now. Hope this helps xxx
Is an MRI the same as the internal probe scan they do?
No that is an ultrasound MRI is an imaging scan which is very detailed, does not involve Xrays and takes around 45 mins as a procedure ( you need to go in a tube like scanner)
That makes sense! Thanks for clarifying. One Dr abroad is recommending a hysteroscopy with treatment done at the same time for anything they find, saying that the internal scans I had done can sometimes not show enough. But my UK Dr has said it's not needed. I can go straight into my first round of IVF. Hence a little confused a reading posts for research. It's so hard to know what to do. What did you decided?
I've not done an hysteroscopy, but have had two 3d saline sonograms, which are supposed to be very reliable at detecting scar tissue as well as other uterine abnormalities. Although a hysteroscopy is the gold standard, my understanding is that a 3d saline sonogram can be just as effective as an hysteroscopy and is less expensive and invasive.
