Recovering from Laparoscopy, with a little read of this😊
Hi ladies I’m currently recovering from a laparoscopy and
hysteroscopy
which was completed yesterday. Everything went well, surgeon said I have some scarring from previous cyst, however tubes are looking fine & dye test went fine too.

Follow up reassurance 🤞🏻
Just before the follow up I had a
hysteroscopy
which they found and removed a polyp. Then came decision making time: 1. We thought they’d suggest donor egg now and I didn’t know if I was ready for that. I find this a huge step to make, to move away from my own eggs. 2.

Hysteroscopy advice
Hi, I just wondered if anyone has had a
hysteroscopy
to investigate failed implantation with no known cause? I had a 4d scan before my last cycle and everything looked normal. I’ve been booked for a
hysteroscopy
so thought I’d go for it.

Polyp?!
Hi, I had a
hysteroscopy
today. They found a polyp that measured 1cm and removed it for me. I have read this can be a reason for implantation failure. Has anyone had a polyp removed and went on to a BFP? Thinking this might change our next plan and allow us another try with my own eggs.

Alternative to IUD for endo treatment?
Last year I had 2 laparoscopys, a
hysteroscopy
and was fitted with the Kyleena IUD. Since then I have felt extremely emotional[i], have had periods of feeling really depressed and have gained weight.

Taking a break
I’m having a repeat
hysteroscopy
the cycle before under a new miscarriage consultant, also to include a scratch, and we will have clexane and intralipids and steroids included. She wants me to restart my acupuncture sessions and then increase them leading up to transfer.

Feeling stupid
This showed an area of thickening at the top of the womb and when i asked if it would need a
hysteroscopy
and biopsies he said probably yes. I called the hospital yesterday to chase a date for the
hysteroscopy
and explained that I was on 2 wk pathway so had assumed that it would be done quickly.

Has anyone else had a Hysteroscopy
My gp is useless (sorry to all the great drs) and i have finally got a
hysteroscopy
booked for the 29th of may. Am i right in thinking that in the mix of all they offer for treatment of endo. Nothing actually works and we all have to just get on and live with it until we are really really old??

Recurrent Miscarriage
Surely I don’t need another pelvic scan after about 20+, an HSG and
hysteroscopy
? Has anyone experienced anything more sensible from their hospitals? Thanks xx

Pelvic pain, birth control and laparoscopy
After a follow up ultrasound revealed that the original cyst is gone, but I still have pelvic pain, My doc is recommending exploratory laparoscopy and
hysteroscopy
to go in and try to figure out what’s going on, using this spotting as one of the reasons. Is this jumping the gun?

Hyperplasia? + Egg donation?
I went yesterday to the clinic to have my
hysteroscopy
post-op thinking (rather foolishly) that it would be straightforward and I could get on with the rest of my life, but alas no. I've now found out that I have hyperplasia (but not atypical) and will need the mirena coil (Oh! The irony!)

Hysteroscopy
I have a
hysteroscopy
today without anesthesia and everything in me wants to cancel it I'm so scared. They advised to take pain killers an hour before the appointment. Never had this done before. I regularly have my smears is it similar to that. Any advice would be gratefully received. Thanks

Pain nearly 3 weeks after lap
Hi I had a laparoscopy,
hysteroscopy
, and coil fitted almost 3 weeks ago. Since about 5 days after the op I have had pain in right shoulder blade that goes across back and pain in chest rib area. It seems to be below my breast, sort of just below bra line where is occurs.

Pain in-between shoulders
I had a laparoscopy,
hysteroscopy
and coil fitted about a week and a half ago. For the past week I have had pain in-between my shoulder blades, ache across my lower chest and ribs. I have been to gp and he wasn't sure what it was and put it down to having surgery and trauma to muscles.

No endo found
I had a
Hysteroscopy
and cystoscopy & DnC in September last year where they found a problem with one of my 'tubes' (my Urethra is narrow) but I need to wait to see Urology consultant in May to find out more-I was supposed to see one within 4 months but STILL not seen one. 😔 I've been with my partner
